I think someone said TC was offered £1.40 per share a couple of years ago and declined? Could go for more than that now that oil is back in vogue.

Maybe they hoped for a rise so they can get another placing away?

For me we have a proven track record of not delivering. This does seem to be a more realistic target at least. I will be waiting to see what happens but it's still not investable to me. We are almost going back to NR days of reaching out for the next shiny thing to buy.

Well no immediate drop - is the rise based on the real market or is it market makers moving the price to suck people in and offload large sell orders?

This is going to get hammered in my opinion.

I guess they don't want to admit fault, but know that goods being seized is a bad outcome. As far as I know the ruling is the end of the road. Both parties agreed at the outset to abide by the decision. What mechanism could they use to appeal?

I am inclined to say that anything less than full cash settlement will be viewed dimmly.

I think we are in a stronger position than this time last year. No debt worries, no trump as you say, OPEC being sensible, shale neutered, roaring 20s ahead of us!

Everyone wants to feel good after this pandemic and I think we will see a huge release of human energy. There will also be lots of stimmy going out into the real economy to grease the wheels.

I am having to stop myself from going too wild...not a profit until it's banked and all that!

Fairly confident we will never see 11p again but anything is possible.

I still feel that long and strong is the order of the day for the next few weeks. Getting above 18p might be tricky as this was previous support level. But saying that with 20million plus volume and sentiment we could get through it easily.

Normally I would take some off the table after a rise like this, but I can see this running on to 30p over the next few weeks so holding the line.

If POO does go to $70 or $80 then things start to get very interesting indeed!

The reason this was so low was debt deadline fears, and they don't exist at $60 oil and refinancing well on the way.

We are only just catching up with the POO percentage rise since November.
