Banana - they can't even use the doses that have been delivered.

They have a factory awaiting approval...would be interesting to know whether this is EU delay or problems with the subcontractors facility, but either way I suspect of it was in the UK then the millions of vaccines waiting to ship from there would already be in people's arms.

You say if Astra had delivered then the EU vaccine programme would be going great? The EU is scapegoating Astra Zeneca. Now nobody in europe wants it because the EU have sold it as a 2nd tier dodgy vaccine.

France now won't give it to under 55s....a few weeks ago it was useless for over 65s. I'm not surprised there is huge vaccine scepticism.

I agree it makes sense to centralize for some things.

In theory vaccine procurement would be one of those things but the key here is the urgent requirement. Sometimes you need to break the framework and just get it done by hook or by crook.

It has been very poor performance by the EU on vaccines. And boris has been a complete bumbling idiot during the whole thing (no surprise there).

I was also pro EU, but they have made, and continue to make a mess of vaccines. Plant performance is only part of the story. What has been appalling is their vaccine bashing at the highest levels. The latest pause on AZ was astonishingly bad judgement and displayed a certain contempt for their populations.

I suspect there was some planned activity with the vessels around AK...whether it was intended to disrupt production I don't know. It seems the disruption was around the time of the end of Feb offload. My guess would be that they took a full production outage around that time (planned or unplanned). We should find out with timing of next offload if there is any prolonged reduction in throughput (e.g. issues with HSPs or something?

There was some talk that GoI had 90 days to "appeal" the award. This would be Tuesday next week.

Did anyone ever get anywhere with calculating crude on board these transfers? Is it safe to assume each load is an even 500k barrels?

I ask because navion oceania is a larger tanker that looks like it could easy take 600k, and she has been hooked up for about 27hrs now. Is it wishful thinking that the old girl might like to take a large load?

The Bod have made a number of serious errors here.

The first is over promising and under delivering. Whether you feel there was any chance of delivering or not, these guys told us they could do it. They haven't.

They made a mediocre deal with onedyas which they then pulled out of incurring substantial penalty payments. The deal was either so bad that it became unviable with a temporary drop in gas prices, or it was an OK deal and they bottled it when the gas price dipped.

They have pivoted to renewables just as O&G is coming back into vogue, and with bubble valuations of the renewable sector.

They have spent vast sums consulting with...their own companies.

They have entered into a dubious convertible facility

I am all for a risky stock, but when it comes to management I don't take a risk.

That's why I am out for now here. Very poor management. Strategy all over the place.

You just need to be selective with AIM.

- Generally the fewer RNS's they release the better.
- Avoid any Malcy stocks
- Avoid stocks that engineers recommend. It usually means there is an "interesting" engineering problem to overcome.

Sometimes best to use your own words AA, or at least attribute the words you borrow to a source so others can evaluate.

Agree she sounds competent Chris. I doubt she cares what the SP is though. Read between the lines and you can see this is significantly higher risk than a conventional helium play. My opinion is that the market has got ahead of itself and priced in a success.
