Chilting - oil companies in the UK have enough on their plate to meet the carbon targets.
Other technologies you talk about such as hydrogen and CCS are not commercial currently. EnQ do not have deep enough pockets to participate at this stage.
I would prefer they focus on growing production, perhaps taking on more decomm projects and become a specialist in that, which in the future may include disposing of C02 in old wells.
They have options for a declining oil world but in my view you are talking about projects which need very deep pockets at this stage. There is still plenty of opportunities in oil to pick up the scraps as the majors begin to shift focus.
