Chris - I will keep saying it until they quit the foolish gamble they seem intent on making.

It is not a profit until it's sold. Many here will be wishing they got out of SCIR in the recent spike. SCIR could find themselves in the same position with HE1. Is it really worth the risk when they thought it was worth a seventh of current SP just a few months ago???? This BOD are all over the place.

What goes up can also go down chris. I don't think SCIR can count on any return from HE1 stake. Particularly when the hefty fees are taken into account.

It's certainly not bad news at this point. Equates to about 2 days free cash flow! Presumably they think they can tie back to kraken.

I was an xcite holder as a yute and lost £600 pounds. The lessons I learned were well worth it though!

I believe that in enquest hands, it can be a profitable asset for the future.

Someone mentioned the winners curse a while ago. The good thing about this deal is that enquest were likely the only game in town, and the seller was in a very weak position.

Unfortunately jam, buying SCIR for exposure to HE1 means you would have to pay the salaries of our BOD and their mates consultancy. An expensive bunch !!!

Also I expect they would tank the HE1 SP if they sell on the open market so seems unlikely they will get back their original investment.

SCIR can't really risk the drill bit result as they need cash to keep the lights on at their other liabilities.

I'm afraid I have lost the "faith" when it comes to SCIR / SOLO. History tells me we are headed down to half a penny, then probably a placing and consolidation.

Hi Frank - people on here keep saying this..."oh give them a H1 2021 to prove themselves", "give them the few weeks or months to get these first 4 deals done".

I have no doubt there will be some other excuse why they deserve just a bit more time when they fail to deliver value this year!

For me the BOD need to exit before I will put any of my hard earned in here again.

They are bloated and I don't trust them after the massive fees they have paid out to Gneiss.

Hopefully we can start clearing them out soon?!

Chilting - we may not be attractive to listed companies and High profile institutional investors. But at the end of each day we are £1 million ++closer to having cash on hand to give back to investors at these brent prices.

We are still priced to fail IMHO.

The ESG thing is a non issue in term of the recovery story IMHO. We are an oil company heavily in debt. Clear the debt then start thinking about whether we still want to be an oil company. I would suggest we do! Even if that is focusing on assets with low break evens to be profitable at $40 to$50 long term

Added 50ks worth at 15.3p. no brainer IMHO. Anyone selling here is nuts unless they think oil is going to sub $50 for a long period.

I suggest you go and read some of the posts by vike earlier this week. Very succinct summary of the problems here which the BOD seem poorly equipped to resolve.

AA - you will find the SP "drifts" because money is flying out the door with zero value add IMHO.

It really is not sustainable to run an £8 million market cap company with a premier league waged BOD and consultancy.

Great idea to get them on a live webcast, with a Q&A at the end. Always suspicious of a BOD that do lots of puff piece interviews but won't face their SHs.

A lot of bull xxx on here. The SP will sort itself out eventually. It is clearly a sector sell off which seems to be affecting all UK list oil cos.

The russia story is interesting...I wouldn't be surprised if the whole world has lost about 5%+ production capacity on average through lack of investment (natural declines are about that). I don't think we will know the full impact on supply side for another few months.

Current prices are not high enough to encourage investment.
