KO - what the hell do you expect? Enquest are an established oil production company.

We are about to have a prospectus published which will set out the new deal and financing

KO - we know the business plan.

They can’t tell us what they don’t know (I.e Bentley and bressay).

The priority is still debt reduction. Current debt level is not really sustainable with recent volatility and future uncertainty. Give it another 6 months with POO above $60 and we can start refinancing the bonds from a position of strength, then investing in sustaining 60k bl/day

Is there really much upside at HE1? Seems to me that quite a lot of success is baked in to the SP. would need a shoot the lights out result to see a sustained rise?

I don’t think anyone would think it a bad decision to book a 6x profit in a matter of months.

It’s a non-core asset that can give us an unanticipated windfall...or we can let it all ride on black (actually worse odds than that!)

I believe it holds Shell responsible for customer emissions, which is just stupid. It’s like holding Diageo responsible for the actions of a drunk driver. Or suing McDonald’s for making you fat.

Overreach by the court it would seem.

It is for government to put in place proper incentives and disincentives.

The UK seems to be taking a more pragmatic approach.

This share seems to attract a certain type of feckless buyer / holder.

The BOD are happy with the good feelings they get from generating such fantastic ideas. Certainly don’t want to withdraw money from the company for themselves!

Maybe they could use the money for these 5 or 6 new deals that are in the pipeline? Or the ongoing works in Tanzania? Or is everyone cool with shareholders stumping up for these things again?!

Chilting - I predict zero impact. The ruling is nonsense. I could find a legal expert to tell you anything you like. Plenty of hippies or opinions for hire in that profession too!

Strange - it has come from glen lyon so maybe just doing a dry run at some of their clients if laser is correct? Don’t think we saw that with altera wave, which seems to be similar design. Maybe they had some issues so being careful with this one?
