I can respect Chilting (though not aligned on longer term view) - he has got Enquest wrong in the past, picked himself up, moved on, and now able to come back and treat this as a new investment / trading opportunity.

GKB seems to be stuck in the past due to his poor decisions, and now totally paralysed by fear (or should that be hope and expectation?) that history will repeat.

I expect his IG is not looking very healthy at this time!

Tullow - stupid apple

At the end of 2019 tulipwood hit pretty serious production problems.

Enquest have been consistent but unlucky with POO, and made some bad hedging decisions. The pain over the last 6 years for shareholders is coming to an end IMHO. AB has kept the wheels on and ENQ are now really well setup to take advantage of the decline of the majors.

I can see production growing in the next few years and POO hitting new highs in a prolonged bull run. Our production volumes are a little down but the assets are higher quality and lower break even.

Wheels starting to come off the climate change wagon. It’s going to be a long slog to move away from oil.

Highland - primary asset requires funding now - where is that coming from? Death spiral finance? Or will it be an open and honest placing?

£200 thousand has just gone out the door in transaction fees for this deal! For a 500kW generator?

SHS- essentially the BOD seem to lack expertise to actually select investments themselves. We are now bank rolling these 2 guys at EAG who we are gifting 50% of the farm asset in exchange for their knowledge of the sector.

Makes you wonder why we have this Expensive BOD. All they seem to have achieved here is to divert more SH funds into their own pockets. GNEISS still seem to be heavily involved so I guess it goes

SHS - there is a presentation on the website. Interesting they chose not to include all of the detail in the RNS.

This is certainly not going to be the self funding company everyone wants. Fundraiser almost guaranteed in the next 6 months.

IMHO the SP needs to derate to match the new strategy. This is no longer a high potential company so all of the hot oil and gas money will likely drip drip out of here to chase the next dream.

If this goes back to 0.5p after the next placing then I will be a buyer.
