EP getting redeployed looks odds on if PoO is in the $80 to $100 range. It’s a very valuable asset in the current climate. All about using as much of the existing infrastructure as possible. Big new multi billion projects are not going to get sanctioned any time soon IMHO.

I first looked at VOG in 2010 and have been following the story since then. It’s a really great story and unfortunately it has sucked people in to the benefit of mainly one man..

I think this may be the most investable it has been in that time, but it’s not quite there for me yet.

Hopefully it will eventually become a profitable business

People participating in the open offer already have shares that they can “forward sell” so actual admission date is irrelevant.

Dumbly - I don’t think the deal is fully in the SP. it’s summer and volumes are low. Once everyone comes back from there holidays (and see our September results) I think we could see 40p.

On GE specifically we need to monitor the new wells as it sounds like they have exceeded expectations. Could give a nice bump to annual production and bring the final price tag down by greater than the estimated $75 million.

As with all oil Cos in the UK we are disconnected from Brent. This will change at some point, especially with the hedges that ENQ need to layer on for the next 2 years.

Yes they did well to raise at 120p, and basically hold on to the proceeds. Not usual AIM spunking it and adding zero value.

Likely we will be above the last placing price before more funds are needed. Platypus should not be too capital intensive, and I would imagine innovative finance or conventional loans would be available for the wind farm.

We seem to be significantly undervalued compared to someone like LBE who don’t have any production or reserves /resources booked. Their cash is also committed for exploration funding.

We have already found oil and gas - “just” need to develop it.

We are similar in that our main assets are exploiting mature infrastructure.

LBE exploration targets are targeting similar scale reserves / resources. Potential for much more if drills are all successful obviously.

I would be interested in anyone else’s views on LBE / PMG. These thoughts are just from a very brief bit of reading of their recent RNS announcements and presentations.

I am hopeful we will get some high impact drilling here in the next 12 months and also renewables, platypus, and near field Netherlands being developed. And hopefully some farm in news / development plan for Perth!

There is really not much to talk about with production. The company has given guidance and reiterated it after the problems at the start of the year. They have always done a decent job of meeting targets.

Chilting - North Sea oil is still very attractive. As with all oil and gas worldwide we need price stability to see investment.

Even shale is realising this now. They can develop more quickly BUT decline rates are higher. So investment is still high risk.

OPEC+ (Saudis) are now in control of price. I think they would be quite happy with price between $70 and $80.
