“The Group remains prohibited from making distributions under the terms of its financing facilities until such time as the CLBILS and Tranche 'A' of the term loans are fully repaid. Accordingly, there were no dividend payments made in either the current or the preceding year.

The final maturity date for tranche 'A' of the term loans is 31 January 2024, and accordingly the earliest that dividend payments will be considered is during the FY25 financial year. Subject to continued financial performance in line with the strategic plan, the Board envisages recommencing dividend payments at a level of 2-3x dividend cover based on profit after tax, subject to a Leverage ratio assessed across the financial year of not more than 1.5x (excluding lease liabilities) being maintained after the distribution is made.“

To be fair, his write-ups on Stockopedia are really useful. This was just a throwaway comment after the Tuesday results and he obviously hasn’t looked deeply into the situation

THG/MM got a mention this week, and he’s not a fan:

“(The company is) an absolute crock ….diabolical results…terrible performance. Heavily loss-making, heavily cash-burning, no indication that there’s a viable business there at all, just all hype from this guy who set it up and ran it, who looks like an absolutely typical tech-boom, delusional bs merchant…. He’s usually very astute in his financial opinions, but didn’t mention what Apollo can see that made them interested

Agreed, well-worth watching.
It’s good to hear them talk about the huge opportunities for growth and their gradual moves towards higher margin businesses.
This remains a cracking little company.

I sold an AIM loser on Friday to average up here. My ISA is full, and I wanted to keep the bulk of my THG holdings in it, and I'm confident it was the right thing to do

Addisonshare - my ISA is full and I wanted to keep my THG in there. It’s a judgement call: we’re all here to make money & my profits in THG have already covered my QBT losses. For me, it presents an opportunity to make more than I could here. Not to ramp, but it’s worth having a look at THG for the strong rumours of a management buy-out and possible short squeeze event.

Yes Suthy, I sold my remaining 30,000 shares this afternoon at a loss and topped up my holdings in THG. I think that’s a safer bet than QBT.
I’m looking at this as a valuable education into AIM, rampers & de-rampers!

Good luck to everyone here and if the right news does come I may well jump back in, although I do think it will be a long slog back as some people will sell into any rise to get their money back.

Have to agree with you SSB.
We invest on facts and figures not waffle, and since the vague update in May there has been very little but hope to hold our shares up. My patience is at an end here
