CTC - Absolutely. The tartan toss pot will obsess and run with something for weeks, sometimes months, telling everyone else they’re too simple to comprehend the complexities of business. Once said obsession has been proved false it’s like it ever happened! Never a word spoken it’s just into the ne t and repeat to fade.

Arsenalles - Les F scored lots against my team but Ian Wright probably got more. Dream strikers, both of them. Shearer was an absolute machine but I never took to him (Sorry Sandy!) Wrighty is always more than complementary when talking about Everton so he’s got drinks in the bank. Your boys are looking good, finally! Must admit I was lukewarm on Arteta as a manager but you’ve made some decent signings. I was surprised you weren’t in for Richarlison. I reckon the fans would’ve really taken to him.

Sandy - Never made it to St James but had the misfortune of attending Boro on a Boxing Day a long time back. Ravanelli netted, we lost. Made up for Newcastle, always bring a good following. Shame about the Saudi links but there’s plenty of dirty money in the league so take what you can!

Sbrace - a very tough game: I was in attendance the last time they came to Goodison in 99. We had Walter Smith at the helm, they had Big Ron and were coming off the back of a 8-1 reverse at home from Utd (solskaer 15 minute sub hat trick) Naturally, they beat us 1-0. I gave up my season ticket shortly after. Good to get back amongst it even though we’re beyond rubbish. My lad is game for anything and laughs at all my rubbish jokes so is the perfect match goer. Enjoy your weekend and same to all on here

Sandy - Loads of people would kill for a 9-5! Keeps you busy anyway and extra pocket money always helps. No golf this weekend but I’m taking my lad to Everton v Notts forest tomorrow. Can’t wait but he’s making me drive so no beers. Got the Merseyside derby two weeks later and he’s promised we can get the train for that one!

Hector - the massive sells have obviously been done, hence 5.25p. And good for you for having courage in your convictions. You’re holding till the end, no problem with that. Not ALL have though which was my original point. Like my post in reply to monkey yesterday about the “astute” and the “weak”. Don’t you think it’s time, after what has been a catastrophic fall in SP, that people perhaps exercised a little more caution when choosing their wording?

Outofreach - there’s been plenty of LTH’s who have declared they’ve sold the lot or a considerable holding. Tilly, Ian, (4 million to 250k!) Gecko, B1ll, Casaeurasia. They’re just the ones who have bothered to declare their business. Then you many others who have slipped off and never returned.

So, I disagree, I think a boatload of LTH’s have cut their losses and/or moved onto different shares.
