Old news??

...normally consist of shares in my watchlist what go through the roof, whilst those in my portfolio languish. I also receive dividends on the very same day that the market drops to wipe out the sum received and more.
Things are looking uncharacteristically positive here!
Don't want to jinx it though!

Interesting point...as Leon said, they have a design they are testing, so potentially another revenue stream that is not dependent on operational staff...just build it, deploy it and take lease incomes/ royalties....potentially very quick turnaround for additional recovery they would never have seen otherwise
I get that recovery from waste tailings makes a lot of sense from a JLP perspective in terms of de-coupling the process from mining and removing an operational risk, but (from a mining perspective) does it also make sense to bolt the JLP processes onto an active mining operation so that the tailings are 'clean' and can be returned to the landscape for good?
Hoping some of you could share your wisdom!
I hope that in make ng to decision to expand Roan they have fully incorporated resilience into the plan (e.g. standby power.).
The benefits of multiple sites is that you spread the risk of outage, whether plant failure or power/ water. I would hope a few lessons have been learnt, although $8.5m seems a little low to include standby power etc.
Fingers crossed they have mitigated the risk.
Exciting times
Not sure if this has been posted already

There are no doubt be some strong opinions on this board, but having been a long term holder I always come back to the following reasons why I'm still in this one ( other than masochism).
I like the whole recovery from waste concept, but the real lure for me is the potential to scale up rapidly ( especially compared with mining) and at relatively low capital cost.
I hope and expect the business will expand significantly, based on the processes now in use in a number of geographies and in rapid succession.
I'm in for the long haul. GLA with whatever you decide
I have been ( and still am) a holder for many years, but I have to say I find it inconceivable that the board did not see fit to invest in standby power facilities as a minimum when designing the capital investment schemes...business resilience is partly dependent on it, as we can see! The power problems are well known after all!

Thanks for the summary testpack..very useful and I have to agree with your conclusions on both competition and potential market. Battery life, size and cost are currently significant constraints to the widespread deployment of sensors in the connected "Smart" world. Significantly improve battery performance and the market for sensors will explode. Looking good with plenty of potential upside. Wish I had seen this in December though!
Stumbled across this share through a professional interest in smart cities where existing battery technologies are a constraint. Looking to conduct extensive research before I invest but thought I would also ask the low down from you guys before I commit. Any wise words gratefully received
