Surveymonkey is showing me results of 25 only out of a rotal of 55 answers! It is trying to get me to pay the annual fee to get all the results 😡
The site I used previously was better and showed everyone all the results. Tempted to repeat the poll on previous website!
Results of 25 only revealed:
2 tendered all holding
3 tendered 38.5%
15 did not tender any
5 tendered a different amount
This is close to the previous poll results.
If the total of tendered shares is worth less than 30mil then the company will be buying more shares on the open market, hopefully driving the share price significantly higher. This is only if my assumption is true, that institutional investors who advised and voted on the tender offer did not take it up themselves but want to increase their relative holdings.
Did you tender?

I have not tendered any of my holdings and would be very interested to know what the majority of us as PI have done?
My previous poll showed that the majority were not happy with the proposal and did not intend to tender.

Thanks Ddubya and Maxi
The alternatives if we vote against the tender offer in my opinion will be one of 2:
- special dividend (my preference )
- a significantly higher tender offer for a smaller percentage of shares which again may be more attractive.
The 37.5% II may vote for the offer but then they may not offer any of their shares to tender. This will make them effectively own about 67% of the company!
I strongly disagree with th return of value in the form of the tender offer. I thought of creating this poll to see if we can have enough power to move against it and stop it from going ahead. I have a very decent shareholding of almoat 0.8% of the Nanoco.

Expected lost revenue on low estimate according to Edisson and Nanoco $200-250m based on US market.
US market is 1/3 global market.
Total global lost revenue $600-750m
Future sales is 1-3 times lost revenue.
Total global lost revenue including future sales $1.2-2.25B
If settlement is based on net earnings rather than revenue as per Edisson's latest article, this brings the figures down to $400-750m
We retain 50-80% after paying the funder bringing the final net settlement to nanoco to $200-600m.
Considering worst case scenario of all of the above, settlement can't be below $200m(200m will be disappointing). Therfore in my view, SP is massively undervalued.
Good luck
Although the RNS is not as positive as I would have liked it to be, I believe the lower end of a successful jury trial is still way more than what the market has priced now.
My expectation is a minimum MCAP of double the current MCAP once the details of the settlement are out.
Good luck all.
Good news for all LTH.
I have just over 2.2 million shares. I hope that someone is keeping the list of holders as we can be seriously powerful united together.
I will not sell any shares before SP of at least £1.5 and hope that we will hit £3 eventually!
I think that we will get an RNS tomorrow stating that LO have reduced their holdings further to circ 14% which will explain the drop after the good start on Friday.
Good luck all
I might be totally wrong but the delay in an RNS to announce the trial date 3/10 makes me wonder if this is because they are about to reach a deal and don't want to put out contradicting RNSs within a short period of time ??
Probably wishful thinking ????????
They need to report every 1% change. Turcan himself won't need to report anything if he purchases until he reaches 3% though.
In accordance with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) rules, Panel of Takeover and Mergers board (PTM) rules, an investor who acquires, exceeds or falls below 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and each 1% threshold thereafter up to 100% of a UK Company, must, under the Companies Act 1985 Section 198, disclose their interests to the London Stock Exchange and the company, within two days.
Thanks RJT. I have searched and can't find any restriction on non-executive directors after stepping down. Are you aware of restrictions for a certain period?
It would be considered illegal insider trading if he purchases shares based on information that a deal is done but not illegal if a deal had not been done yet but he knows that it is promising and progressing IMO
I am not trying to ramp and would welcome opposite views.
Does anyone else think the resignation with immediate effect and remaining excited about the future could indicate that HT wants the freedom to be able to invest for himself in nanoco without any restrictions?
I know that this might be wishful thinking but this is how I read the news.
