RE: Market Cap - Gold equivalent21 Apr 2025 21:23
from the rns on 18th april 2024;
“at the omco mine site there are significant tailings and unprocessed stockpiles dating back almost 100 years. in 2022, the company commissioned an independent report which recorded an inferred resource of 31,000 tonnes grading 1.6 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver in the tailings, together with exploration targets in the substrate beneath the tailings and in a co**** stockpile at the olympic mine. this will be the first material to be processed for gold and silver concentrates through gwm's 50% owned western milling joint venture.”
if we can get the mill up and running the first goal is to realise 31,000 x 1.6g of gold or 49,600g. that’s 1,750 ounces or versus our 374 ounce valuation. 4.6x current value!
clearly it doesn’t happen instantly but prove it can happen starts the upward movement. the silver 3,280 ounces would be worth an additional £80k. i know all of this puts forward a very simple view but if brian et al can show this can all happen the re-rate can begin!
