Chengdo,...my household is a mini "European union combined Brexit" of sorts. She is French with French, Spanish and Italian heritage, and I have German, Portuguese, Italian and Swiss ancestry (I am British too, just in case the immigration/linguistic police here try knock on my door). The last time I counted we could swear at each other in at least 7 european languages.

I appreciate your stance there. It was nice of you to place a few words regarding the spelling argument. I wish I could do the same when comes to justifying myself to my dear half. She's French and doesn't like when I make spelling or grammatical mistakes when I write.

I tried a few times to tell her that "maybe I am "dyslexic" (when I know I just simply don't care anymore) but she doesn't buy it. I think, well, It is not as if on my epitaph it will be written " Here lies Wilson, Beloved husband, but bad speller", is it?

But, at this "stage of the championship" ( I am 50 and a few languages under my belt - without google translator) as long as I can reasonably communicate with my fellow human beings, in one way or another, I am happy. So, despite plenty of spelling mistakes, I can still detect bs from you.
And believe me, I even knew that I would poke you out of your hole. Of course, that was a compliment from me; that you were the most subtle de-ramper I've even come across.

Wylie.E.Coyote, I wouldn't post this study on their BBs, not that you implied that, as I prefer to discuss it only here and that may be seen as deramping their shares. As much as I don't like derampers coming here, which sometimes they ought to get back some of the same medicine back (and some of us are guilty of that), I prefer we focus on our company only (good luck to them).

As per this study, I think our CEO is fully aware of everything at the moment, and although I am sure AS would love to have the test ready to go to the market like the rest of us, he is out of his hands as to having to follow the CONDOR clinical studies.

As per manufacturing capabilities, should we succeed with our test, to transfer the technology to other parties who may show interest and have the demand, is not rocket science. We have 2 big manufactures already in place, to have other approaching us will not be a problem.

I am now very confident the our CEO has not only a pretty face, and will make sure the future of Avacta as a leading global player will be in the cards. I hope our oncology phase I trials will be announced soon. That for me, in a personal level, has huge significance.

That is not my description..it is AVACTA's. I placed above it the link where it was taken from. On my part there was only a little research.

On another point, I have just listened to Iain Dale's repeat show on LBC, where he interviewed the CEO of the Aptamer Group PR. Honestly, the poor guys are still way way behind and, in my interpretation, not even a race contender. But you may have another opinion. (listened from 19:11:10)

An Affimer is not an aptamer
Aptamers were the first generation of non-antibody affinity reagents, and have had some success – a therapy, Pegaptinib, marketed as Macugen and a biomarker discovery/validation platform called SOMAscan. However, despite over $2Bn investment, the success of aptamers has been limited. This is probably due to a number of shortcomings.

The most obvious of these is that aptamers are physically limited to a small range of conformations, and chemically limited in the type of bonds that can be formed. Their highly charged backbone is self-repelling, making conformational stability difficult, yet it non-specifically binds numerous proteins, making specificity and high background a problem. These limitations, and a limited range of building blocks has meant that aptamers have ultimately fallen far short of what was initially hoped for.

AVACTA being the only one that is in the trading market of the bunch mentioned. Everything is market sensitive and should be disclosed via a RNS.

We are not "quite there yet", if I got it right, is because we are being clinically on trial. The other guys have complete their trials as they are not POC.

It seems, the Aptamer Group is on a PR show with nothing to show for. They are nowhere clinically trialling their LFT like Avacta is doing with LSTM and Mologic has Done with institut pasteur de Dakar as well their Antibody tests with LSTM.
