I was just on google map satelite viewing where I have acquired a stake on this mining company to see the region and I can tell you, we will not have any environmental groups, neighbours or whoever ****ing us off! it is almost flat, no trees, no farms ..literally a waste land full of riches for us to dig!

It has perfect roads linking us to Europe and Asia! The more I see it the more I like it.

I used to be a shareholder in Dragon Oil, which made me loads of money and the country brings me good memories.

? Brownfield: as FAR has an operating vanadium plant, significant site
infrastructure is already in place
? Logistics: excellent links to China, Russia and Europe
? Power: connected to grid , now connecting to nearby HV line
? Water: readily available sources
? Terrain: unpopulated area, no agricultural use
? Roads.: 70km sealed road runs from near site to Shieli and
motorway standard roads from Shieli into Europe, Russia and China
? Rail: Mainline railway station located in Shieli
? Silk Road Economic Belt: corridor of roads, rail, energy and
telecommunications infrastructure linking China to Europe and passing through southern Kazakhstan

As well as being low in deleterious elements, Balasausqandiq’s ore contains valuable by-products:

- Carbon-silica – carbon can be concentrated to make
carbon black, used in the manufacture of rubber, $12bn
global market, selling for several thousand dollars per
tonne depending on grade. Carbon-silica mix can be
briquetted to make ideal feed for ferro-silicon smelting

- Uranium / molybdenum – bulk concentrate.
Kazatomprom has a statutory first right to purchase
uranium products in Kazakhstan

- Potassium alum - market in China in the chemicals,
medicinal, culinary industries and for water purification

- REE concentrate – currently excluded from base-case due
to depressed market, but potential for the future.

Very interesting in my view. Plenty of other by products for us to mine apart from VAnadium.

What’s different from Largo, Bushveld and other primary vanadium producers?

- Balasausqandiq is not a titano-vanadiferous magnetite deposit – nearly all others are
- Our ore contains very low levels of iron oxide and carbonates (i.e. acid-consuming components)
- That means , unusually, the vanadium can be directly leached in sulphuric acid with low acid consumption

What impact does that have?

- No need to pre-concentrate the ore
- No need for high temperature roasting (typical salt-roast process requires roasting at 1,100 degrees C)
- Reduces capital and operating costs by about 60%
- FAR should become the world’s lowest cost producer
- It means FAR’s economic potential is in a different class from all the others – the usual metrics are not applicable

Not all vanadium deposits were created equal:

- Outcrops at surface, open pit with no pre-strip required
- Very large, with huge exploration potential
- Constant grade with little tectonic alteration, visible geological cut-off makes for
easy mining
- Simple, low risk flow-sheet with low capital expenditure to build-
- Low acid consumption, access to cheap sulphur
- Low input costs in Kazakhstan e.g. labour, power
- Low corporate tax rates, incentives include a tax holiday for the processing
operations
- Existing operations with experienced work-force
- All major infrastructure existing – excellent roads, high voltage power line

I was just wondering if this has popped up in the discussions here before but about at our Balasausqandiq deposit has, appart from being rich in vanadium we have also other minerals, such as "uranium, molybdenum, aluminium, rare earth metals and carbon". I guess the focus is on Vanadium alone.

Salvadore, exactly! We have top quality vanadium in the mine, as per what our CEO says and that has attracted the BIG guns in the form VBR, with a world class curriculum and expertise. And according to our CEO a mine reserves to last his lifetime and that of his children! With exploration rights of 25 years and with the possibility to extend it. What else do I want? Oh yeah, that Sir Mick makes FAR a multi billion project. :0)

dusterinmong, 15p? Seriously? I seriously doubt it will drop as Far is no longer what it was 3 days ago. The scenario has changed and we have now Sir Mick joining the board and cash to achieve what we need to make FAR a world class mining company. This is transformational for FAR. But if it drops, which I doubt, I will throw in all and the kitchen sink on this. No day trader will affect my views on this company, unless the fundamentals change, which I think they will not as Sir Mick would not put his name and reputation on a flop company. My view, of course.

The question I ask myself is... what do I do when I see a good thing? Do I buy it or not? News for the short, medium and long term here look good. I did buy some yesterday at 30p, and surely seeing the early drop today is not a lovely experience, but became a buying opportunity for me.

I am also asking Warren Buffet's question...where do I think this mining company will be in future? 24p? !5p, as some wise guy here suggested? I don't think so.

I think we are now on the road to starting be prepared for being sold; that's what Sir Mick is good at. He moves in, groom the company when it is cheap and cheerful and sell it for big bucks. My two pence. US$1 Billion, once all work is done, is good for me.

Nothing has fundamentally changed since yesterday for the company. The news are good the potential huge. Now I wait and it is simple. Patience now.
