Bumble - I had no expectations over the Phoenix event, however, I do expect feedback (good and bad) when senior executives attend such events - AB could not attend, but authorised ABB to speak on his behalf and as such that should be communicated to shareholders. As for the coming financial year end review I await the highlights with interest and I shall compare and contrast with the 2020 report.

You may well be right, AB has used the term "calendar year" presumably because he was not confident of delivering in the current financial year (that ends tomorrow). So now all the pressure is on for him to deliver his numerous EXPECTATIONS referred to in the half year report in November and December. If he is true to his word we should all be excited. Now where did I leave my crystal ball.

In the Half Year Report RNS'ed on 23rd June we got several EXPECTED forward looking statements for this calendar year. The time has come for delivery, we can wait until February for "forward looking statements" we want delivery of the EXPECTED expectations - and a happy Christmas.

The last reported inflation rate was 3.1% (previously 3.2%) I was surprised by the small fall and feared it had been manipulated to avoid raising rates before Christmas. The over 4% inflation rate mentioned in yesterdays budget, now indicated to me that any delay in raising the rate at the next meeting would be negligent. Great set of results today and I expect an analysts rerate over the coming days/weeks.

WHY - Let me explain - AB EXPECTED to make the presentation on behalf of AFC and their shareholders - I'm a shareholder and I EXPECTED to be made aware of the outcome, after all as shareholders we remunerate him handsomely. He could not attend due to COVID19 restrictions - he has been off in Sardinia representing AFC and us shareholders and a few snippets (nothing official) have appeared on social media. I continue to wait for the EXPECTED news on contracts and orders AB EXPECTS to announce in the remaining days of this calendar year. I hope that answers your stupid sarcastic question.

Has the presentation made on behalf of AFC by ABB been made available in text or video by AFC, surely it's a communication shareholders would expect.

Last year it came out on 3rd November and included
"Commercial pipeline at different stages of development, growing across initial key target markets."

Can anyone explain what happened to this commercial pipeline - is this what AB EXPECTS to deliver in THIS calendar year. Also are the "initial key target markets" the same now as they were 12 months ago.
Going around in circles springs to mind with AFC if it was a racehorse "blinkers" would be fitted.

Maybe these comments/posts by Haggis should be on the Hertz/Tesla BB cannot see them being of any real or implied benefit to AFC

Is showing yesterdays volume as 1,225,040 with a low of 140p and a high of 165p and the closing price of 155.50p. I know over 1m share got sold at 140p in the late afternoon, surely the MM/MM's are not holding these over the weekend - so what's happening? any ideas out there?

Everyone has been talking of reaching zero emissions by 2050, however Saudi Arabia will be coming to the table with their pledge to cut their carbon emissions to zero by 2060 (not great commitment there) furthermore they maintain they will continue to be a leading producer of oil and gas. This will take pressure off BJ who is committed to the production of North Sea oil and gas for the foreseeable.
