Took a little interest in Serica last week at 326p. Good to see DU in fine form as he posted there. With plenty happening in the NS our wait continues - fingers crossed the FO gets closer.

The call for this is getting louder. From what I have read the expectations are for an interim of just below 1p with a final bringing the total for the year to about 3.2p. The actual impact of any dividend in the current climate should be share price enhancing as it opens up further investment into CNA by funds only allowed to invest in dividend paying stocks. History says CNA should be at a much higher level. All will be revealed tomorrow - fingers crossed.

Yet another positive article on Centrica in todays FT. Results day may well be interesting for holders and the share price, lets hope the company deliver.

Sounds like work in progress, with milestone being a defined aspect with this.
That sounds logical, however with AFC will the milestone be achieved??

This was in the interim results - and it raises a question, can anyone provide a sensible answer.

Q - If it is a non-refundable deposit - why is income recognition deferred - Maybe the auditors will have a view on this.

Large article in this weeks FT with top ten investors in CNA calling for a return to dividends, game changer if this materialises.

He will also be armed with todays operational update so I would imagine that he may well come down firmly on the offer in its current form significantly undervaluing Serica. A lot of info to digest, but it should come this week.

Can't see a dividend this year, although recovery to £10+ certainly on the cards.

Haggis - Sorry mate you need to think a little bit more about what you write - there is a HUGE difference here - anyone who wants to enjoy the same profit needs to INVEST (put their hard earned at risk) AB is taking no risk and being MASSIVELY rewarded for just trying to do his job - to you understand.

Options are a BASIC multiple of the current share price. They are based on AB multiplying the share price FROM THE CURRENT PRICE. Thus ANYONE buying at this price that expects AB to achieve the performance required, will ALSO get the same profit on the stock - OR LOSE THEIR SHIRT PANTS THE LOT.

We, yes we as shareholders pay this guy £750k pa and he has over 7m share options at no cost to himself.
