I have been in AFC for many years now and have seen below 4p over 50p below 4p over 80p and below 20p, and yes they have sold almost nowt in that time. The CEO has raised shareholders expectations year after year. I have no issue with rewarding success, however, for me success = enhancing the share price and market cap in a permanent manner. The shares in issue have more than doubled in the last 5 years and will double again in the next 5 years without meaningful sales. Many on this BB will disagree with my vision for AFC (I sincerely hope I improved wrong) but that's my view.

Suffering from a "media bashing" for daring to declare a dividend. Some idiot Labour politician calling for CNA to be nationalised.

The more the sp drops the greater the chance of a bid. The union will really have a cob on then as redundancies will be the order of the day.

Is not good news here. The silence from ANGS is tangible, last opportunity is an afternoon RNS with delivery rather than progress.

In the US look to be going higher again today, and this should be reflected here. What a pity AFC cannot deliver some positive sales news to take advantage of the favourable market trend.

Yes some rather disgraceful and misleading press.
The dividend will cost a mere £59m a significant amount of which will be going to "sids". The company will pay its normal corporation tax and according to the company a further £600m in windfall tax. The company should sue the press and all CNA shareholder should boycott their papers.

Following a large rally in the sector in the US both ITM and CWR have risen 8% and 9% respectively. I was looking for AFC to go well beyond 25p. Rather disappointing.

The huge difference for Equinor is they do not operate in a jurisdiction that expects profitable businesses to bail out Joe public who expect pay outs when things get difficult. The UK press are a disgrace, the Telegraph today has headlines "Shell and Centrica pay billions to shareholders" Centrica last paid a divi in 2019. They all forget these dividends mainly go to support pensions in the UK.

A stronger than expected set of results accompanied by a positive statement of future trading and progress all washed down with a better than forecast interim. The market response will be interesting.

Todays buyback picked up in shares bought and based on the average price paid they cost over £170k more than if they had bought them yesterday. History says the price will drift back, so maybe they should have a short buyback holiday.

Regarding the company's financial position are being removed - be careful - read the annual accounts.

Higher interest rates favour banks and insurance companies - Lloyds results today beat analysts expectations by more than 10% and they increased their full year forecast - LGEN should report a similar outcome on August 9th. Still think sp will breach 260p ahead of those results.

Grasping at straws there - deal less than £5k

Taking a profit is never a bad thing, many locked in here well above 150/200p with many having bought for the dividend and having bottomed in the low 20's the current price is encouraging.
