Very quiet on the BB today. Hope people's withdrawal symptoms are not too debilitating.
Interesting post H2: thank you. Sorry if people are down by more than petty cash but it has been a classic AIM performance, and, for me, a fascinating introduction to the vagaries of a BB. Still think Bids has the germ of a very good idea but seems it is now time to borrow one of Mrs M's pins again and look elsewhere for another penny punt; or a good week to pick a geegee I'm told. ATB
I'm here. Flattered to be designated a "ramper". Interested that DC has something to do with Norwich Footie Club. Do tell.
Always know where Gridzy is but can't help with Bz and Hexl 1 or 2.
"Game over": ooh no, not again. How many games in a set on AIM? Look forward to all meeting again next Friday for the final, absolutely this time, no possible future, complete shut down and final rites, as our "advisors" have predicted every Friday if not daily for the last two? years. Dear oh dear, and is Hexl on holiday or adjusting the dials on his crystal balls.
Even the Weathermen are more accurate. ATBtoALTHs
PS: And yes Gridzy: this time for once I am lying through my teeth.
Your point being Gridzy? Do tell. SP in 19 days will be.........? Please consult with hexl then let us all know. Mrs M just loves your perseverance and stamina though you do seem to be weakening recently or have you other interests that take your time hour by hour day by day. Please don't forsake Bids: we need your shrewd advice. ATB
My opinion too s5: always seen this as a fair recovery punt and read into the RNS that others might be of the same opinion. End of the summer season (if we get there) could have a very different outlook. ATB
Mrs M asks; who or what is TW. I was unable to furnish a reply. Her next question was : is Bids still going or has it gone down the tubes yet? It is I confidently replied but I will ask of those in the know exactly when it will go down the tubes. They have been predicting it for quite a long time now but will never give a precise date. Still not lying through my teeth Gridzy: that is a fair summary of our conversation over a glass or two. Half term now so will look in next week. ATB; good to know the jousting continues.
By that comment on the CLN Gridz I presume that you mean the high quality fashion shop for women from all walks of life. CLN could refer to a security with a credit default swap through an SPV collaterised with AAA rated securities but I doubt its relevance here.
Interesting info Bz: thank you.
Blades: many thanks for your contributions: interesting news and seems to have perked up the sp. No doubt the regulars will be giving us the benefit of the real state of things: strangely a 20% increase in sp is most unwelcome by those who frequent the BB most prolifically but suits most of us just fine as did the Azerion Settlement.
Please keep posting up to date info.
Must go now to thank Gridz for his close attention and advice on my AIM Portfolio: who needs a personal financial advisor when you get one on here for free! Be sure to ignore all offers! ATB
What is fao, and I don't believe welcoming HH to the BB to be drivel: a mere courtesy not often to be found here with some. Nor do I believe that reporting that I was accused of "lying through my teeth" after my very first post on the BB to be drivel: it is to give new-comers a flavour of what to expect from some quarters. As for CEO James Draper I have absolutely no opinion: I have never met the man, have no knowledge of his background, qualifications or even date of birth. I have no knowledge of the BOD, the foundation or history of Bidstock; however, I like the idea of bricklive, am told that K-pop is all the rage, use AIM as a punt for a bit of interest and the shares were very cheap with more blue than red as they are at the moment.
Would you like a signed declaration that this is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth since you seem to doubt and scorn everyone and anyone who dares to post on this BB?
I would wish you a happy new year but joy and levity do not appear to be amongst your particular desires.
PS: you will probably be accused of "lying through your teeth" as I was on my first, and similar, post so be prepared to send the contract note to the accuser. ATB
Evening Gub69: welcome to the Bids BB: you have it in one: I believe that there are those who "invested" at c35p or even more and rather than blame themselves for a duff deal resort to abuse of the CEO, the BOD, those of us who have recently taken a punt and especially those who post sound observations for which I, amongst others, are grateful.
None so vicious as those who have never learnt to lose with humility and grace. ATB for 2024.
Indeed Grids the sp does tell me all I need to know along with the blues and the reds on the trading board. Had anyone of the deep thinkers on this BB predicted the Azerion deal and the sp increase I would be filled with admiration. In fact this possible outcome did not get a mention throughout 2023 in the hour by hour day by day commentaries of the residents: a somewhat lax piece of research I would say from those upon whose predictions we all revere.
Dear oh dear.
An easy spot HH I have to say! You will also notice the misquote referring to my post: nothing unusual there. DYOR is a wise precaution: as I said, predictions from the residents of this BB have been somewhat wide of the mark hour by hour and day by day. Hopefully Viennetta on the pudding for all LTHs by this time next year. ATB
Dear oh dear.
Welcome HH: some interesting points: thank you. Now stand by for the inevitable vitriol to flow hour by hour day by day: you will soon get the drift. It's been a relentless comedy of errors so far on the BB. Happy New Year Bids! ATB
An interesting read Bb: thank you. ATB
Can't be many cos who receive 10m$ but SP twitches .07%: but at least it's upward - for the moment. GLA
Not quite manic monday Doc but it added a bit of interest to the wait. I doubt (hope) not too many LTHs dived in - as I said a strong sense of deja-vu for many - but interesting to review the "facts" of SNG001 and revive a few hopes that this time around they will get it right and produce irrefutable evidence that it might serve a purpose if only for those who have whatever strain of condition is required and that there are enough of them to make a profit. An interesting case study in the workings of AIM and SNG! ATB
PS and final question for those who know what is going on: what is new now that wasn't known over the 20? or so years that work has been going on? There is a new type of inhaler being thrust at us by the NHS but the same stuff comes through, albeit more directly (allegedly). I doubt all this is a pump but it certainly has a touch of deja-vu and not sure if it will excite those who coughed up their 175p ps. But happy to stay and learn more. ATBALTHs
