Codejunkie -just saying how I see it -the shareprice has decreased by 95% over the last few years -how can this be positive ?

Just tired of missed production targets and continued excuses.-surely you can’t be happy with the company’s performance and the resulting shareprice? Stop name calling and debate perhaps?

Production guidance cut yet again -now under half of the 8000 mtv per annum we were promised by (Mis) Fortune -the old cunning ploy of the new CEO cutting production targets quickly so he can’t be seen as responsible for the upcoming. dire performance .

Costs too ,high,production too long and all quiet on the Orion finance front.

Why no cash figure for the 30th June -let’s hope for once the “strategy” actual produce some tangible results and not more excuses

Un (fortunately) the way to judge the performance of a company’s CEO is by reference to the shareprice.During the last four years shareholder’s investments here have almost being wiped out .

You can ramp or deramp as much as you like but judging by the shareprice Fortune has been a complete disaster for shareholders -a lot of hot air with missed deadlines and targets .What happened to the mini grid roll out/energy storage

Very interesting Bangrak-could be management buyout of perhaps an all out bid from another party to secure long term supply of chrome and PGMs -probably more likely once Karo “up and running”

Sotolo -have read an article in relation to this in Nikkei Daily -it is not all doom and gloom for PGMs.The article states that Mitsubishi sales have been decreasing in China over a long period as Chinese consumers are switching to local brands of both electric and hybrid vehicles.

Hybrid vehicles need higher PGM input than traditional petrol vehicles .

Nice to see a modest tick up in the shareprice and some buying.

Also would like to know how much has been spent on Karo to date .

Sotolo -PGMs prices must be near the point where it will become uneconomical for the deep miners to produce and “destocking” can not continue indefinitely -rhodium is actually up nearly $500 compared to yesterday according to metals daily.

Demand for PGMs does not stop because of a recession -you acknowledge that the analysts have been wrong on PGM prices -there are often wrong on other economic predictions as well.-

The PGM basket price could easily reverse it’s $400 fall in short time -we shall see and there are still major constraints on the chrome supply chain

Very good free cash flow but no doubt market will ignore this and focus on slightly lower production figures and the current unsustainably low PGM prices

Financing the build at Karo is not a problem and PGM prices should recover -destocking can not go on for ever and many other producers must be making losses which is unsustainable.

Still think there is enough surplus cash to undertake small share buyback (say $5-$10 million) to support share price.

Chrome price looks good and should not fall materially hopefully

Also unlike KAV,GLR have projects “oven ready” for production -

Agreed -btbt -the directors missed an opportunity -very surprised that Glencore board members were not all over this -higher share price the less their holding gets diluted

They could have financed the next year of ZIOC out of petty cash -would have been must cheaper than dilution of their shareholding especially if “the deal” is close

Agreed -how about an investors presentation followed by a Q and A -long term shareholders should at least be given this platform

Frankly what should be the upmost concern to investors at this time should be the dire shareprice and the current financial position of the company -not what happened in the dim and distance past.

A long distance race is won by whose leading at the end ,not by who is leading at the end of the first lap!

100% correct Cindercone -Mojapelo should do the decent thing and walk away -he has destroyed the shareprice ,almost bankrupted the company and missed opportunities.

Unfortunately once you are on “the corporate gravy train” you are continually handsomely rewarded even if you make a complete mess of things.A investor should measure the success of a CEO through the shareprice and not through “rose colored spectacles”

Quarterly figures tomorrow I believe -will know if chrome and PGM production is back on track and cash position (yes we know PGM prices are depressed at the moment) -hope amount spent on Karo is specified .

As soon as we get some concrete news via RNS the shareprice should quickly reverse.

The market has no confidence in Mr Bird’s mouth -production data and output need to be set in concrete and seen to be happening !

For once -agree Bushy -the 2021 PGM highs are not likely to be repeated anytime soon.

Luckily the 2021 windfalls were invested in copper production where the bull market is widely predicted

No evidence that production targets in Zambia “stalling”

All we know is there were initial problems with water and power supply which have now been resolved -we will know shortly when production figures to 30/06/2023 published
