Fingers crossed -people still flogging shares at ridiculous low shareprice

Demand for high grade iron ore is high -time Glencore and Elphick got off their backsides and put a deal together that material benefits all shareholders.Hope another six months paying people via diluting shareholders interests to operate the company’s abacus actually leads to something.We know the size of the reasource and the grades-ten years or more twiddling thumbs with the bare minimum of contact with shareholders is totally unacceptable!

Until we have some actual news the shareprice seems to be stuck around its current price.

The days when a shareprice would shoot up on speculation or a tweet seem to be long gone.

We all know the outlook for copper and other metals are very good but we need some finite news.One day “Rodders”

Bushyfailed-how is producing approx 3000 tons of copper upto 30/06/2023 not producing ?

Stargate-the business does not solely operate in South Africa -it also operates in Zambia where if things go to plan will generate more income than South Africa in the medium term.

Many companies also operate successfully in corrupt surroundings -the lower shareprice is more likely to be caused be current weak PGM prices

Perhaps there should be a board member that represents the interests of small shareholders either with a financial or mining background

HMHG -not sure about Fortune being unemployable -many times on the corporate merry go round a CEO gets kicked out only to emerge with another highly paid job elsewhere shortly afterwards -perhaps who you know and not what you know!

I see what you are saying Faramog but the only concrete way for an investor to judge the performance of a CEO is by the shareprice and returns to investors.Fortune has clearly failed on these indicators

Veteran10-let’s hope Zanaga gets an invite to the party and if it does it decides to attend.

Fortune has completely destroyed the shareprice -anyone who overseas a 95% decrease in a company shareprice can’t have done much right to put it mildly

Agree Gotreal -copper and further chrome production now online -chrome price still very healthy and copper around $8500 a ton.-like Tharisa,JLP appears to be solely valued on the basis of PGM prices..

Like Jubilee metals shareprice appears to be based purely on the PGM prices and ignores the current chrome prices

It seems Zanaga and it’s major shareholders have lost interest -no investor presentations and complete radio silence -still hoping to wake up one morning to the big offer

It is very annoying that Glencore are perfectly happy to watch the value of their investment here tumble via people selling a couple of shares when they could fund the latest cost production update from petty cash and suffer no share dilution

Very short sighted to raise funds with an opened ended price-was only going to send the shareprice downwards.

Zanaga seems immune from all the news emerging from the region -hope Glencore and Elphick get their act together and don’t just watch as other deals are made.

Teckanalyst -I have apologised for my error on production costs for Largo.-I am just like everyone else prone to make mistakes

The main point is that production here is always lower than anticipated and costs are too high at the current level of production to offer any prospect of returns to shareholders.

Any company that has seen its shareprice dive by 95% can’t be doing many things right . I ask what are the prospects of obtaining the 8,000 mtv annual production which was alluded to a few years ago and future production targets met

Jumping on a posting error should not be used to deflect away from what matters to investors -a healthy shareprice and returns to longterm shareholders ! It amazes me some people appear to think the management have done a good job here.

Totally agree with you the company would be ok if production targets were met.

Trouble is they never seem to met production targets and if it is very disappointing they had been cut again.Sometime ago Fortune mentioned aiming for 8000 mtv per annum-they are currently not achieving of this-surely you are not happy with the current production level that is partly to blame for the dire shareprice

August21 not sure if this is correct as many small holdings are lumped together in nominee accounts operated by the banks and stockbrokers -for example a shareholding listed as HSBC would comprise of a number of shareholders you operate their shareholdings via HSBC.

However you are correct the day to day shareprice moments are just noise

Very interesting to be accused of being a troll for saying production costs are too high.

Largo’s estimated production cash costs for 2022 were $3.20 to $3.40 per pound which equates to $7.04 to $7.48 per kg -under a third of Bushveld .

No doubt I have already been censored by certain people for daring to raise this and question the level of cash production costs

Codejunkie -judging by you last post you seem to agree that the company’s performance is below par especially in relation to “professionalism”

You seem to be attacking me for stating that in my opinion the production costs are too high but you appear unwilling to comment on the dire shareprice which is the best indication of actual performance -I try to avoid personal attacks on people who consider this necessary when discussing a company’s performance.I would also point out I am often very positive on a company’s prospects-just read my posts regarding JLP and THs who also operate in South Africa.

I am afraid at presence I am tired of the quarterly excuses by BMn why production targets have not been meet and there is always an excuse why performance is below expectationa
