I've always struggled to understand people who just come on and bad mouth certain stocks. Of course people get annoyed at you, they're invested and you just post negative statements.
So, I've always wondered why? Either a) you lost a ton here and are either trying to sincerely warn people away or you're so angry you just have to post, b) you are just angry and like trying to make people fearful, or c) you are concerned for others and acting as some kind of martyr. Why do you do it? You don't get paid to s#it post, even if checking rns every morning is your day job.
The site has been this way for at least 3-4 years. That's all it is. If you dislike it, just stop checking in. I just use it for getting sentiment checks on micro-low caps as twitter not so good for this on UK stocks. On the whole it is very amateur, child like discussions, with people like ria saying 'big day today' etc. But it will eat you up if you're on here too much. Take a break.
I thought there would have been an announcement about this. It does seem newsworthy. Hopefully it is being saved up with other useful updates. I see, again, that we're having another stable (ish) day again today.
At the risk of getting ahead of myself, it looks like the selling pressure has significantly cleared up this week. Far more stable and actually some green days. We can but hope (and then regret not taking more at these silly prices in a few months' time!).
There can't be a placing - who in their right mind would offer up funds.
That's literally all you took from that update? You didn't see the Boots and HB progress updates or sales figures? Yes, we all want Amazon but there is so much good to report that it's disingenuous to just pull out the only negative.
Great update! I agree with your take on this, far more positives here. Fantastic growth and increase in sales. CBD doesn't tend to be a one-off purchase, so hopefully this leads to more long-term repeat buyers. With the new marketing team in place I expect even bigger things as we move into '22.
Recently Love Hemp tweeted a reply confirming they are considering crypto payments. A number of things lead me to believe this will become a reality soon. 1) Crypto.com just signed a huge deal with UFC (Love Hemp partner), 2) Love Hemp publicy said that they are considering accepting crypto, and 3) Codebase Ventures are significant investors in LIFE and have many blockchain interests.
Now, regardless of your view on crypto, this would offer some fantastic marketing and open up a new market. Many people in crypto will use Love Hemp simply because they accept crypto. It will create a buzz and will increase sales and investment.
A relatively minor issue, but a positive none the less.
MMA, I feel the same. I was fortunate to get in on Argo at 6p and have very similar feelings to what I did there... What's the catch? Am I missing something? Why hasn't everybody else cottoned-on? Let's hope there are no big surprises.
The expertise we have recently brought in is fantastic. JD Sports was a major success story of the last couple of decades, and now we have a big part of that success leading us forward. Even without the uplisting, the risk/reward here is so strong. So many positives!
I know the pricing here is inaccurate, but it is hard to fathom. All trades reported on here today are buys, yet we're down over 10%. I took an extra 25k earlier, hence being certain on buy price. Taking every opportunity to capitalise on our current invisibility/wider market sentiment.
The problem with most people posting every day about the price dropping is your time horizon. If ORPH looked good two weeks ago, then you should be happy for the chance to top-up unless you are planning on selling any time soon. If you invested based on fundamentals then what does the short-term price matter? If you are trading, then yes, major ball-ache. If not, why post all the time saying it's still dropping? Have you seen the wider market? The fear is palpable. There are a number of opportunities coming up here, all leading to improved value for all holders. If you can't stomach the drops then you won't get the gains. GSK, AZ, Pfizer are probably a safer bet if you are deeply troubled by the dropping SP.
Hi Katenip, just seen the reply. Yep, completely get your point. If this is the case, surely they should be honest and say that (or simialr) rather than say it is to protect people's money. Think how much they have to repay for contactless and other past scams. Are there cases where they have had to payout for crypto-related scams? (That's a genuine question, I don't know the answer)
But I do think this is a terrible precedent. It is tarnishing a whole asset class as being fraudulent. It is like blocking HL as a platform because you can by dodgy AIM shares on there, or because somebody participated in aplacing and lost there cash or the company was later found to commit a crime (rich coming from a bank!).
It's not like banks have ever had to be bailed out for fat fingers either, is it? They lend to VC and funds on ridiculous leverage and that's fine, but a client doing £5k away on crypto is bad? This whole story, of which Santander have just jumped on the bandwagon, is aimed at criminalising and delegitamising crypto. This is wealth preservation. Regardless of your stance on crypto, it is starting to take a big chunk of money out of the conventional system which is causing a real concern.
I come back intermittently to warn people here. I have learnt my lesson . I really don’t want a lower entry and I’m not bothered about ‘de-ramping’ (a stupid expression if ever I’ve heard one!). This is a genuine dog of a share. The big sell has been covid for the last year. Yet nothing ever comes through. Nothing ever will. Sadly, Guy, whilst coming across humble and friendly has to put on a big show to keep your money. Nobody wants to listen to him anymore. They screwed it up. This is the lamest blockchain company I've ever come across.
Anybody invested here who values investing should really question their investment. Today Barclays have banned outgoing payments to Binance to 'protect' their customers. I don't care what people think about crypto, but this is a terrible precedent. They are essentially telling you where you can/not spend your money.
You can still make payments to online gambling companies and other crypto exchanges. They're not protecting you that much. But you just can't make them to one company. And for no reason. This is not a good sign, regardless of views on crypto.
Agree with all these posts. I've got more shares than I originally set out to get, and will try to get another 100k if market allows. I am comfortable with paper loss, as I see this being many multiples of current SP in the year ahead. Too many catalysts underpinning the company for it not to gather momentum and interest.
I planned to reach 100,000 shares. Then upped to 200,000. I have today reached 300,000, which i really didn't think I'd get the opportunity to do. I thought the consolidation would have ended by now, and the FOMO kicked-in. I am surprised it hasn't, but strongly believe it will.
The bull case for me is diverse: Amazon listings, increased Euopean expansion, exceptional and increasing management team (including, important, marketing!), USC deal, and LSE listing.
I also think we are heading into a macro environment in which people will seek relief and a break from the bleak economic reality. I think CBD useage will increase as a result.
At this price, love hemp is a bargain. Yes, we may get some more raises, but so far they have been fair, not too dilutive, and enabled PIs to particpate. We are cash-generative, market leading, forward thinking and expanding, and hugely undervalued. The re-rate will be a spectacle.
Can buy via limit orders on HL. they tend to get decent price and full.orders quickly.
Fantastic news. JD has been a major success story over last couple of decades. Show real intent!
Also, the Aquis news re German market is fab news. The re-rate will come soon. This is an incredible opportunity right now.
