So many people are guilty of so many things on AIM - people trading ahead of the market (Igas), people selling shares when they shouldn't (ANGS), leaking like sieves (UJO) - and nothing happens. Why? because it suits the Government (of any stripe) to keep their friends in the City happy

Australian quoted companies can get round this by quoting some obscure rule on their stock exchange (or casino as it is technically termed)

unfortuately reservoirs do not suddenly change and produce more oil - soemthing has to happen - more wells. water injection, bigger pumps

Since none of these has happened the rate cannot improve significantly for the better - only the unavoidable decline .

And how do we know that no improvement has occurred? Because the BoD hasn't been shrieking a production increase from the rooftops. Silence in small oilers only means one thing folks.

In the current market you'd be looking at a 1 for 1 - new guy pays 50% of the cost for 50% of the interest - as ANGS don't have the money to drill the well they have no negotiating position - especially as people have tried to farm Lidsey for 20 years without success . But the upside is very limited and the y haven't addressed the water issue so I doubt anyone will take it
