remember Saltfleetby - 2 years between starting and (hopefully) first gas - and that was already drilled with much of the civils in place. HH took 6 years from discovery to on production

There looks like plenty of exploration upside in the NFB in both the RKH and Argos acreage - but no-one will drill anything until Sea Lion is actually under construction IMHO. No one wants to have to wait another 12 years plus to monetarise their investment

The Kimm was always odd - no water at all for a start - there was a body of opinion in the industry I heard that it was only producing from the fractures in the Kimm - once they were depleted they would be dependent on flow form teh very tight surrounding rocks.

Since they have never updated us I suspect that the pressures just kept on dropping as did the rates until it became pointless. A decent frac might help of course. The fact they never deepened HH2 would suggest they'd written it off by then.

Absolute priority has to be producing enough gas to cover the hedge - if that doesn't happen we're all dead
