Adrian/Gideons - you're no longer invested here - so go away - that's what you tell everyone on other boards (and on this one when you were an SS fanboy).
"Yes HUR is vulnerable to 1 well, but I think the Geo's and data room will show that there is a significant degree of confidence in the well now "
It's not the production levels from the well that would be a worry - it's behaving very well
It's the fact it's a single point of failure. Any mechanical problem with the system, for whatever reason, means an instant stop in cash flow and, possibly, an expensive and time consuming fix. All without any income. It's one thing to already own it (HUR), a very different thing to buy into it knowing that risk when there are other opportunities around offshore UK
No medium /big company will risk buying an oild company that is dependent on a single well for its cash flow.
The risk to the BoD is just too great - Imagine you buy HUR and the day after the well has a problem.? What the hell do you say to the shareholders?? Hence to need for diversification ASAP
