As I said, for the examples I considered, I would agree with you. EZJ say they have insurance in case of connection failure to get you the next possible flight or hotel. Didn't know Rya had anything like.

Exet, while ezj and Norwegian are as you say not comparable networks; ezj does offer connections to faraway by "worldwide" partnering with longhaul carriers e.g. Cathy Westjet AND Norwegian. Now such connections as I have checked out are too lengthy & /or expensive for me, but they ARE available for customers whom they suit; unlike you-know-who.

Gazza, we can't abolish hydrocarbon fuels overnight, and while we burn them we should use UK resources rather than shipping the stuff half-way round the world.

The possibility that it is already too late, is a valid point of view Imo. What sort of planet are we leaving the kids (& grandkids)? One with a future, or where they face extinction of our race? You use "tree hugger" as derogatory shorthand, and some are a bit off-beat: I can respect people prepared to act on their beliefs, of course they need to persuade effectively and peacefully, shouting and violence not the way.
