Good post, did some further research and watched the podcast - Justin’s just angry and lot of straw clutching, he definitely wants a low entry though.
Apps are expensive to develop, maintenance not so much relatively and would usually form a part of any contract. Rollout and scalability is key though moreso than revenues attached to it - everyone knows that apps are developed for exit strategies.
IF the WhatsApp statistic is correct then the market up for grabs is enormous, competition does exist and I don’t believe being GDPR compliant is an actual USP in Bleepa’s case - every competitor will have to be compliant , so what are the USPs:
-CE marked
-Integration with a system already in place at NHS trusts
-High quality images
-NHS contacts
The NHS operate on a trust basis, despite being one organisation, different trusts can still use different systems
Medtech is a hot sector right now and under new direction and leadership, at £7m Mcap with such a simple model i.e recurring revenues on one side and a new app almost at completion on the other , there is significant upside
