Setting up and documenting/legal procedures tend to take a while (up to a few months sometimes), particularly for a revolving facility of $100m, they announced the 'imminent' RNS for the funds needed to close the deal.
No stumbling block of any sort - just PI's misinterpreting the RNS as 'you will make X money in 2 weeks because RNS says so' - when in reality it was for the funds to close the deal, hence the wild fluctuations.
Most wild rises come when least expected - always.
With that said, the AGM timing is telling, coincidentally when they're supposedly in London - I'm assuming they want it tied off before that, I also think it will be intra-day but lets see...
