Very solid performance given the macro circs. While a 20% pop in SP would be fun, I'm entirely happy that interest income is treated as it is: it says a great deal about the quality of management, their commitment to transparency, and their willingness to take the proper - sometimes harder - path.

Fair to say, somewhat conservative...

They have grown c 800% in six yrs... In a pretty much zero-rate environment.

What's possible over the next six?

Added here (again!) having sold down a few conservative hedge funds, simply because this is - aside the formidable growth trajectory - a beautiful hedge.

I'm guessing we can expect some interest income figures on the IR page within a month or so.

Added in the last week too. Kicking myself for not going much heavier at c 1800..which was my initial buy.

US job mkt remains tight; GDP ticking along. Can't say it helps much else in my portfolio but higher for longer looks increasingly likely.

And I've a whole lot of faith that that cash will be perspicaciously allocated by a very competent team.

A gentle reminder that the vast majority of private investors underperform the market. Most all would be much better off simply buying VWRL or the S&P500..whatever.

If holding small-caps is a daily torture; if you hawkishly watch the SP's every move.; if you are depressed when the SP's
down and elated when it's up... you are in the wrong game. Buy the market instead.

The problem with the ole biotech industry is that there's no money in it.
In particular, our close chums are very parsimonious.
