r7, And IMO the engineering package confirmation will be the catalyst to take the SP substantially up.....the project becomes real and touchable to the current unbelievers....;-)

Sorry you were just a tad early uncleJ, like you I was looking to top up around the previous 5 (just sheer luck I didnt), but as you say, it's the luck of the draw and I'll now top up my ISA around 4. Was always a long term thing for me (SIPP & ISA). This will go thro' the stages (funding, reverse split ) to production I am sure, I just hope there is not too much additional dilution in the process.

Look no further than Bacanora Lithium (BCN), they done similar placing at 45p when their SP was over 60 in early Feb. Their SP has traded between 40 to 45 ever since. And they are now fully funded to Production. So anyone thinking there is a quick buck to be made, IMO, forget it.

Not too much damage long term, but we will languish for the foreseeable.... :-/

bomph - Very similar to what happened at BCN a few months ago, those in the loop raked it in and the price has never recovered (sits at around the discounted placement price even now). At least BCN is now fully funded to production and beyond.....THIS IS NOT... :-[

IMO, if there is no immediate response from Galp, that would signal even bigger news in the pipeline ie a larger stake and/or a tie up deal between Galp & Northvolt. No need to reference VW as they are already in bed with Northvolt. ... :-)

Thanks GlenG, your observation is exactly the conversation I wanted to stimulate. IMO this delay to Infinity will favour Sav in the short to medium term. It will focus minds and resolution in the locals, region and the wider EU community to get the Iberian new industry dream on track. The Spanish project may or may not go ahead, but in the meantime companies such as VW have investment decisions to make, and for Portugal to give the final thumbs up to SAV now (in the very near future) would be a massive catalyst for this project.

What are the implications for SAV if the rumoured rejection of Infinity mining application is true (reported in local Spanish press & trading halt)?
After all the hype re VW battery factory near Infinity, and talk of the Iberian Hub, does this put SAV in an even stronger position or weaken our case?

Surely a project fully funded in a high demand product should be steadily sailing north? If we are missing nothing here, then this would look like a steal. But, the market does not miss 'steals' so I'm a little worried there are alterior motives at play.
I hope the project is not being lined up as Nem ask a Lithium was ad I buy in for the long term (SIPP).
