got in here at 23.19 this morning. Missed the market (closed when I tried) to get in yesterday at 22.5, but hayho what a great entry regardless.

Dave77, I have thought for some time that this has been held down, and the only viable scenario I could think of was a buyout. All the more reason why this would be attractive for short term investors to make a fast buck?
But then again, why would the BOD want to sell this project if EIA is approved? This project could be the maker of reputations as it looks so good, I know if it were me in control, I would want to take this all the way to production and further...GLA

Hospi - IMO this was never going to receive much traction above it's last quarter range until the result of the EIA, and the result was unlikely to be announced (if positive) until at the earliest Christmas week (lessen the organizational opportunities for protest). And even this may be delayed until after the election at the end of January. But in saying all this, I would be extremely disappointed if it did not double with a positive result within a week (if it didn't, think I would bail). No-one is going to commit big until after an announcement due to risk.

It's no coincidence that the eia is imminent, and no wonder ithas not been forthcoming in recent days when you have dirupters like this around.
Why would you give them opportunities to organise during the weekend before Xmas? Give as little time and opportunity as possible, so no 'green light' until next week, then we're into holiday period.

Dave77 if you think a take over is on the menu, here is an interesting fact for you. In the last two days DA has posted two articles on Linkedin. Both posts were 'liked' by none other than a M&A executive at BHP who is also Portuguese (based in London)....COINCIDENCE?

PS Freyr are currently in negotiations with Lithium suppliers which could include potential suppliers like Keliber Oy (Finland), and our fine selves of course.

bobm - Freyr Battery already in a similar JV with 24M and are intending to build 4-5 Giga factories in Norway. In addition Freyr & Koch Strategic Platforms have also signed a JV with 24M for a Giga factory in the US. Basically the batteries using semi-solid 24M technology could come from Norway.

All - do you think the way this has been reported, it looks like they are saying 'a share of the refinery, for a share of the mine'? I for one would not mind a 50/50 stake with Galp considering the added value of selling the finished article to either NV or VW... ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.... ;-)

GM67 - cez / oem are not exactly mining experts. Surely they'd wait until at least in, or near production prior to any moves, and that would mean more value for current holders?

Bit of conjecture here - isn't it interesting that two members of the UK Govt DIT 'liked' the release (see original link), and also the UK Lisbon Embassy manager for investment 'Liked' this article on Linkin. Now some would say 'this is a UK company' so what's unusual? I would counter 'but at such a high level'? The UK needs to get their strategic material from somewhere, and it's not going to come from anywhere within our borders in the near term. So IMO, watch this space....GLA the end is nigh... ;-)
