PizzaR, my understanding is that the Espoo will rule on discrepancies regarding all information/opinions on the EIA process. There is an outstanding complain from a NGO that all information was not made available by the Portuguese APA during the EIA process. When that is cleared then the APA can confirm the results of the EIA.... GLA

Thanks Holtender, I like this as it binds together the two countries in one objective. The latest Espoo Convention convenes tomorrow and hopefully the Portugal / Spain cross border issues with regards to EIA will be clarified?

is it a coincidence that the approval of this resolution (buyback of up to 10% of shares), could buy out Ganfeng. And that the conditions on the max price coincidentally would benefit all shareholders with the current price being 'run down' as it has recently?

LLI, sorry I've read KC comment dozens of times, and to me he is being as precise and clear as possible to the whole, without detail that would be construed as requiring an RNS. And in particular he did not disallow GF's first sentence, so in accepting the post as a whole, he agrees with the lot.

A simple RNS confirming all previous RNS's still apply and are progressing, but for obvious reasons somewhat slower than they would have liked.

IMO the negotiations were more likely to be merger talks with our neighbours. Doubt it would be off take discussions when CEZ (and the Gov)have already made it plain they come first, and that won't happen until after FID / DFS and a host of other things .

Here here FireB - PI's are cannon fodder to these people. Our initial investor status is used as their start-up funds when they can acquire the PI stake on the cheap or for free in Nemaska's case.

FireB, difficult question to answer (who scored). But the short and sweet is that NMX went into creditor protection (not bankruptcy as they had a half built project and I think well over 10 million in the bank). There was a bid process for the project with 8 serious contenders). A JV between Investissmente Quebec (Gov) & Pallinghurst Group, a UK firm (to be wary of as they done a similar move on the shareholders of Gemfield). They had 50/50 share and dumped all existing shareholders who funded tge company from conception. Then Livent acquired half PL's shares (now the lot) and outwith my knowledge PL had shares in Livent. In addition Livent (FMC) and NMX had an ongoing supply / off take dispute.
What upset PI's the most was the fact we were ditched by a consortium of Quebec Gov and a UK tax haven registered company, when other bids were suppressed (bidding against Gov JV), and that potentially included the PI's in the deal. All very opaque.
Hence class action is still very much on the cards (decision by end of May).
