Obviously big business plan well ahead, and if it is not on the cards now, then their opportunity to 'fully consolidate' at a reasonable price (to them) diminishes. So, IMO we (EMH) are plain sailing through to production and big SP gains....GLA

tsibis, looked no further than page 49 of the latest CEZ report (see fingersx post 06:51, first link takes you straight to the page). The fine print states 'These projects [mine / battery] are unlikely to be fully consolidated'.
This is the clearest indication I have seen so far, that EMH will be intact all the way to production....GLA

Starf, as a caveat KC did stipulate CEZ were dealing with the EIA, and they should be experts in this exercise based on their coal mining background. And in addition, they are 70% owned by the Government, so the route to acceptance should be somewhat easier you would assume.
In my mind, the stars are aligned, but waiting on something that we cannot influence or blame on KC, the gigafactory announcement. Although I do agree on your production end date of 2026, in my opinion the EIA / DFS / Offtake are aligned (between now and mid 2023), and finance will be relatively easy, but construction and commissioning will still take us to this timeline end date of 2026.....GLA

JohnP, politics aside (don't start me on the last 12yrs), I was in a similar position with ZNN except I was in here before BCN debacle, then even topped up, like you, after it. And to be honest, last week I decided this was going nowhere for some time, so cut my losses and took the hit of a few k (luckily my average was around the 11p mark). I do still strongly believe in the Cinovec resource, so just topped up my EMH with my ZNN and hopefully I will then recover my loss quicker. To be honest, it always sat bad with me that Secker was still here. I still hold a small amount here in an ISA, but that will be me for the foreseeable.

Bought another 6k's worth yesterday, and could be doing with it staying down around this price for a few more months to allow me to accumulate further. But somehow I doubt news will wait that long....a well, happy either way ....GLA

SandyB, I too have worked all my life, from the age of 16 in my apprenticeship, to the age of 61 now (and still working full time 47.5 hrs/wk). And in all that time I have not claimed one single benefit, even when I took a year out break in 2015. So, I do feel qualified in the subject to comment on benefits. And my point is, would you want any of this unfortunate people working for you, or along side you? My resounding answer is NO, I would much prefer they were at home doing what they do, and it that way it keeps the rest of us 'grafters' safe in our place of work.
My personal opinion is that I am more than happy to pay into the pot to keep this very very small minority off the street and out of the workforce even though that is not what the safety net (benefits) was designed to do. To make it easy, I regard them as having an illness, call it what you want, but an illness never the less.

Tilly, you seem to have very little empathy for people less fortunate than most of us on here. And you defo have not had first hand experience living life on Universal Credit, but more likely formed an opinion based on your political party / media preferences. Your prob in the same boat as a lot of us, middle aged (or older), accumulated a lot of your wealth during the Labour years (98 - 2010), but hate socialism' for being 'namby pampy' lefties that spend all our tax money on 'curtain peepers'.
Here's the thing, if you were an employer, would you want to employ such people, I'll answer that, NO. You'd rather they were kept well out the job market. So would you rather the same people were left on the street to starve, beg or crime (would cost us more incidentally). Or would you rather the rest of us chip in a few quid to keep these unfortunate people off the street (behind their curtains)?

So part of the delay is in the re-engineering to accommodate an increase to 50k/yr.
Food for thought, how are EMH going to magically come up with an increase in production of 60%, easy answer, buy their near neighbours who already have a forecasted 12k (with further drilling announced yesterday to increase output)?
Would welcome other viable suggestions, but please let's not get into the 3 shift, 24hr working arguement again ....GLA
