SmartP....smart comment. I was thinking similar, the Govn increase royalty and share of company to help fund further processing of raw materials. Do this with all 'Green Minerals' miners and you have funding revenue to develop a downstream industry. Better this than the alternative of imposing additional processing requirements on 'first in country' miners. It makes sense to keep this ball rolling in a reasonable timescale.

Their timeline is what I am going by, not what ALL are saying. And from what I have read so far, there has not been any news of circumstances that would extend this timeline....GLA

Don't see the relevance of artisanal mining in the context of Lithium. Surely the tonnage you have to extract to achieve a relevant quantity of even 5.5 spod would be prohibitive. For goodness sake you'd see the mining footprint from the space station never mind on the ground.

Aspirations to make '20 odd pence' SP from the horses mouth (DF). There is momentum here, and my impression is that Dale and the BOD have true ambition to get this SP moving and with a minimum of dilution (stated several times). Check out the video from today's presentation from 33mins onwards;

Thanks for the link TeddyK. Good positive spin, especially on the rising ESS market, which looks like it will be a huge addition to Lithium demand. Already we have specialist battery manufacturers for ESS like Freyr, and no doubt more to follow.

IB, thanks for the link as it is a very interesting article, in particular the comment you highlighted re Portugal.

It beggars the question, what have SAV committed too in the future with Northvolt / Galp JV and not communicated this to either market or shareholders? The comment 'we are actually building a supply chain [for lithium]' would indicate there is an agreement that would allow Northvolt to make this statement. The last time I looked, we are 100% owned and not in any JV, so either they must be talking about someone else (highly unlikely given the timescale it has taken us) or we should be better informed?

Rats in the sack post has been removed, they really must be starving (and desperate)....and the rats narrative is being nice. What a reflection of human nature a lot of these alleged people are...😭.

Just a few counter facts -

every company has their earners fat salary included

without the Moz millions there would either be more dilution or we wouldn't be here (check the current balance sheet at just over 7m)

the initial EIA had hundreds of documents, thousands of pages accumulated of years. The revision utilized the majority of these documents unaltered

Please don't get me wrong, DF is doing a brilliant job, but IMO so did DA

Futurum, I am also rather surprised at the animosity towards DA. IMO he done a fine job in getting us to the brink of approval, it was under his stewardship that most of the hard work (and initial EIA) was completed. The design change and subsequent approval was at the behest of APA, and IMO he fell on his sword for the good of the project and all us shareholders. All the other stuff about failed projects (Moz etc) is a bit ambiguous, as these entities were barely out their diapers and would have just leached valuable cash. And also don't forget that it was the sale of Mozambique for $9.5m that has put us in such a strong position financially to get us through the extended EIA process (and most likely through to final funding of the project).

So DA a failure....not in my book....GLA

Not sure why anyone would come to the conclusion that we were up for sale....why would we be when the real hard part has be done? Come on, first Lithium mine in Portugal, and one of the few mines in the EU to receive provisional approval in recent times, and people clambering for small gains. I would not imagine the Portuguese Government would be over enamored for SAV to sell up when they just established this good working relationship. Nope, at most possibly a JV at least until this is producing, and even that I would assume would be with a Portuguese entity (GALP imo). Trust goes a long way, and I doubt we would have gotten this far if they thought we were just in this for a quick buck.....GLA
