It now looks as though we will be the first EU LI mine to break ground (2026), if forecasted timelines are maintained. The management of this project has been first class, and they really do instill confidence.

IMCO, I was in Bacanora and at least got something out (in profit). I just hope it is not another Nemaska#1 which I was also in and lost the lot (a third of my pension), only now to see it go steaming ahead in construction. They even have the cheek to use the same name after dumping 26,000 original investors....RATS....🐝

It gives me the impression that all is not well at Geomet between the individual entities therein. The reference seems strongly associated with legality and the State (see III A & B in link). I have been in this stock for quite a few years now, and had never been in any doubt it would come good eventually, and that I could hang around at least until 2025 to benefit from the fruits of my patience. These few words in what I originally thought was an innocuous 'clause' has somewhat dented that confidence.

It is pretty poor for all us long suffering PI's, but you've got to admit, there is actually no bad news here, and if you were new to the EMH story, this would be an absolute steal at low twenties....🤮

FingX, agreed ...look no further than Freyr, a Norwegian battery start up. They have wait so long in grants and subsidies from Norway / EU that they have now just domiciled to the US (they're also planning a factory there as well as Nor & Finland) to get a chunk of IRA.

I didn't mention DFS in this instance only because it wasn't referenced on the page I highlighted. After all, we wouldn't want to mislead or twist the facts.....would we.

Who intimated FID before DFS?

The facts are the opposite, where CEZ / EMH have previously stated 'FID to follow shortly after DFS'. So if CEZ say FID 2023, obviously that timescale applies to the DFS.

CEZ Investment Story Dec 2023, again confirms the FID will be complete 2023 -

 In 2023 a decision on mining feasibility (their words p41).

Again confirms it is unlikely they will try to buy us out -

* Values of EBITDA and Capex represent 51% stake of CEZ Group on lithium mining project and 10% stake

on battery factory. These projects are unlikely to be fully consolidated. (their words p41)

And if they are not intending to buy us out, I doubt very much if they would be very keen on anyone else buying us at this stage of the project.

Thanks GS, really informative, well written and clear read. Blows away any misconceptions of the deal on the table. The only small lingering doubt I had was the lack of emphasis that this was in fact a first of its kind, and their job was to encourage more outside investment as well as financial benefit to the country.....fine line to tread.

Yes, I know we are open pit, but the point being there are many many many operational reasons why we would be continuing with Hydrology testing now and into the future (besides just water usage).
