IMO GGP need to release news to the market in order for the buyers to be tempted back. Clearly the big news items are the decline down to the ore body, the purchase of Telfer / Havieron, the FS and DTM, and an ASX listing. The market needs clarity on these before a new investor would invest. The lack of clarity and future direction of GGP at the moment is what’s holding back the share price.

For Newmont to sell both Telfer and Havieron they need to present it as a viable going concern, otherwise nobody will make an offer. Logic says Newmont must be doing what is necessary to progress both for a sale process.
