Tom, Newmont in their latest update earmarked Q4 2024 for Telfer to back online, so I expect a sale during Q4 as well.

Last week I shared a bunch of website links for Australian mines ref: after end of life. I was surprised, pleasantly. I thought they had to return the site to how it used to be, which is not case. Go have a look if you like at my posts.

Dip I do feel it will all be sorted this side of Christmas..... just a blo@dy frustrating wait though until:

- who will own Telfer/Hav 70% (hopefully GGP!!)

- get that Feasibility Study out (much needed for any bank finance for sure)

- make that Decision To Mine

- give guidance for first revenue and annual production rates for the next few years

- ASX cross-listing

All should lead to a share price re-rate on something tangible .... that is the hope. And comparing GGP to other ASX listed goldies our market cap should be multiples of the current figure, should all of the above work to our benefit.

The big question is HOW MUCH will it cost to buy Telfer + 70%? Also perhaps the other Paterson interests Newmont own are also up for sale.

Chart… Jupiter sold due to impatience. So not all big boys are looking 3-5 years. Personally I’m keen to resolve the catalysts this year and see what the share price is by Christmas….. ownership of Telfer/Hav, feasibility study, decision to mine, guidance on first revenue, ASX listing.

This place just goes round the houses daily. Same chat, same words, same responses. Until the Telfer / Hav deal is done and we know GGPs involvement .. how is the market supposed to price GGP? I just have written this a dozen times lately. Until the current uncertainties are clarified the share price will drift as it is. Use it to top up if you think the future is bright. Use this time to go enjoy summer. This all should be sorted before Christmas.

Fred, c'mon. You are on repeat. All shareholders want a share price multiples higher, no need to state the obvious.

GGP 'may' own Telfer and Havieron if it goes to plan. That would be great. Then the other tenements are being explored. GGP is doing what they should be doing operationally.

Once the uncertainty ref: Telfer/Hav is cleared, as we have said every week here for months, then lets see what happens. Until then... chill.

Hindsight... amazing isn't it Fred. So following on from your 'what if', make decisions today so that in 1 or 2 or 3 years from now you benefit. Simple yeah.

Well that’s the hope… that GGP buys both Telfer and Havieron. Hopefully we are the only serious bidder and are not competing with very large goldies.

Barna, do you not think that GGP had an obligation to inform shareholders of anything, then they would have by now?

In a way this already answers your question. Directors have disclosure duties under company legislation, they have both internal and external lawyers, so I am fairly confident GGP know when they have to inform the market of anything important.

I can only think that any potential buy wants to know about these serious matters below, before a purchase price can be agreed and signed off. Assurances would be required by buyers I suspect. This takes time as expected, especially considering the money involved. Luckily for Newmont they are global with deep pockets, so other operations can pay for Telfer/Havieron.

However if Telfer went to the crapper and was the main asset of a company then that company would be in trouble. So this sale by Newmont will take time to make the buyer feel they aren't buying a lemon.
