If you are on TG it is quite clear who the poster is. The are stating the ducks are aligning and they will not state too much to protect their source, despite what Josh wrote about them being an attention seeker.

Newmont are listed in the USA on the NYE so ""perhaps"" they will issue a market announcement during NYE trading hours today that overlaps with LSE trading hours today.... for their sale of Telfer/Havieron.

If these rumours come to fruition. I am hopeful but have zero expectations given recent history (the past 3.5 years).

If that occurred GGP can then release their own market announcements for both the acquisition and a new corporate presentation for D&D.

I see other listed companies presenting at D&D have issued a market announcement providing their updated presentation before they present. Expect the same either today or 7am tomorrow for GGP.

Will EmptyBoots come up… empty… or is something else going to be announced.. not long until we find out. This is where credibility is easily lost, good luck @EmptyBoots.

The chap on Telegram has a good and reliable hit rate though. So that is promising. I understand he knows someone on the ground in WA. I am unsure about EB as I don’t know if he has said similar before, and if so, was it accurate.

I am not saying anything. I am sharing these "cryptic" messages and trying to understand what is next. I am pretty sceptical as I have said earlier today. JoeBass, Hydro, and others have hyped this in the past to all our detriment unless you sold in the 30s. Then we've had delays, takeovers, all reasons for project delays. The share price falling to 5p in the process. So I am not believing anything until it happens. However these posters today with their cryptic messages are implying big news this week.

Shaun’s presentation is 7am UK time on Wednesday, I think the implication is that something is being announced in short order, before the weekend and perhaps before the presentation.

Following EmptyBoots posts on X this morning, I’ve been told that on Telegram more cryptic messages have been shared today by someone else (not EB). I just hope this is not another false dawn as we’ve had so many false starts the past 2-3 years now. As Panama wrote earlier, it’s crazy how many obstacles have come our way. Hopefully it’s all about to turn and change for the better. I do hope this week becomes the best week for us .. 🤞

Now we all heard nothing from the Newmont Town Hall from last week despite the big build up. So were Newmont staff instructed not to share outside of the Town Hall? Does that explain why we don't know what was discussed? Is EB telling the truth or making mischief?

Just noticed I was quoting the gold and silver change based on the AUD price and not the USD price.

In USD gold is down 2.6% and silver 6%. Seems being an AUD based company is a hedge!
