GGP doesn’t operate within a vacuum. It resides within a large mining community so it’s prudent to know what’s going on around it.

Agree TT. Sounds like the filtered fella is complaining like Liam on Telegram when non-GGP discussions are had.

Given GGP's expanding footprint in the Paterson it is good to keep abreast of our neighbours. Also you never know, in the future perhaps GGP will buy or enter into a JV with a neighbour. I am sure that GGP is keeping an eye on what is happening around their various tenements in WA as well.

What is interesting and overlooked by the NJA (nut jobs anonymous) is the link this morning is from a bunch of people living in Perth, Western Australia. Where operations are for GGP and Newmont. A close knit mining community where word can get around. A more credible source versus the CPs of this world who may not have visited Australia in their lifetime.

As chuff, me and countless others have noted weekly here over the last month or so… CP and crew are on repeat. Same old copy and paste narrative. Not like they say anything we’ve not heard them say before. Hence the filter is great for showing just those posters who may have something interesting to share.

To add to the Money of Mine chaps and their rumour, I also understand the Telegram group rumour shared a few weeks back around the time EmptyBoots was on X, was sourced from Australia. This cannot be coincidental.

This morning we get a nice post similar to the rumour we heard about weeks ago. And boom the 💩 💩 comes out all over again to FUD it up and take over the narrative. Similar to EmptyBoots from the other week, plus another Telegram group poster suggesting similar. So every day that passes is a day closer to the sale by Newmont and hopefully GGP is to become the new owner of Telfer and Havieron and the other Newmont JV interests in the Paterson. Making GGP a powerful and influential company in the Paterson going forward.

And hopefully making all us shareholders rich.

Why is anyone suggesting 2bill needed?

When $500mill has been suggested in the FR.

I do agree Speedy, that if GGP is serious about wanting both Telfer and Havieron and 'maybe' the other JV ineterests Newmont own in the Paterson, then GGP would have started getting their ducks in a row long ago.

Ducks include debt discussions with debt providers, plus, broker discussions regarding equity raising.

We've seen the Financial Review article the other week noting circa $500mill being the price, unsure if AUD or USD, but hopefully AUD being FR is an Australian newspaper so default should read AUD unless they specify another currency.

Once Telfer gets signed off from the local environmental authority and is fit for sale, I gather a sale will be announced.
