Tymers if you were filtered I’d not have seen this. Lucky you! What I wrote is worth saying. How many times do we come hear to read spats. I was there doing just that against pepper, bumchaser, etc. Had enough. If everyone does it then hopefully nobody will get drawn into it.

Since I was told about the filter option, I recommend. It is great for not getting drawn into battles with others. I no longer see their posts and therefore I can't react to the FUD etc. Better for my headspace.

Plenty of explorers to lose you money in... Antipa, Artemis, and the many hundreds on ASX, LSE, TSX etc. You do not have to be in GGP.

Personally I want GGP to grow up and become a producer. Commodity producers are those making the money, paying dividends, etc.. Explorers burn money and need constant raisings. Finding the next Havieron is pure luck.

Listen to any business podcast discussing the gold sector and they will tell you to buy producers. GGP buying Telfer and Havieron and maybe the other Paterson JVs from Newmont will mean becoming a producer overnight.

Northern Star did just that a decade or so ago when they bought a mine in Australia being discarded by a gold major.

This is true. Newmont have replied to questions on if they are selling separately and the answer was no. I also hope GGP buy the farm. As Shinybits notes anything under AUD$500million for the lot is a bargain. Still lots of gold in and around Telfer. And it can be a processing hub for other nearby mines, meaning they do not have to build their own mine if they can truck the ore to Telfer. Economies of scale. Benefits the region. I am hopeful that very soon the share price doldrums since January 2021 are coming to a fast end.

A deal for the right price will be value accretive for GGP. I feel we are lucky that Newmont is so large and have money coming in from other global operations, and so trying to wring every penny from Telfer/Hav is not so important as is getting it off their books. For the right deal both parties will be happy.

Don't let them bother you. In that group admin only want information already shared with the market, pointless in some respects, it is a bit late isn't it! What's wrong with discussing rumours from Telfer staff themselves, sounds pretty relevant. People want to know all the ins and outs of GGP which is the point of sharing emails with Shaun, rumours from Telfer staff, etc etc. By the time something it is announced the market has reacted.

We are trying to look through the windscreen instead of the rearview mirror if at possible, to get ahead of the herd.

Thanks Dip. Given the recent GGP recruits who are all senior within their chosen careers, I would be very surprised if they left prior roles (FMG, NST, RIO, BHP etc) to work in an 'explorer' only. Hence I am going to assume that they know GGP is enroute to move to producer status and the pathway is via a Telfer/Havieron acquisition. I hope so! And we find out in a matter of weeks or months... so not much longer...
