so it costs Shell around 1000*14*100000*.4=$5.6 billions+ capex. around 560 mmscf that they have to bring to the plant. assuming a price of 2.5$/mmbtu from henry hub (now more than 3), this is around 12.8 billion on 25 years (undiscounted) or 3.6 discounted at 13% so around $9.2 billions. no opex/gas transportation fees to the plant.. considered.
650 mmscf is around 5.1 tcf.

RWG awarded advance exchange maintenance contract for Siemens SGT-A35 industrial gas generators in Morocco

Metragaz S.A has awarded RWG a long-term contract to provide advance exchange, overhaul, installation and recommissioning services to maintain their fleet of Siemens SGT-A35 (Industrial RB211) aero-derivative gas generators.

This new contract has an initial term of three years, requiring RWG to build, configure and ship exchange gas generators to Metragaz in advance of each scheduled overhaul, resulting in drastically reduced operational downtime for the customer. In addition, RWG will provide field service support to install and recommission each unit, returning time expired equipment to RWG’s OEM authorised SGT-A35 service centre in Aberdeen, Scotland for major overhaul.

may be they want to keep a small equity with the new buyer through their new company; that's a long term source of income to benefit from any upside potential of the tenderara(assuming it turns out good).

a point just to keep this BB alive, If a potential buyer is already in talks behind doors with Sound, he would be interested in having a say in the GSA/price discussions as the GSA is not finalized yet. So is there a possibility we will never see a GSA signed by Sound?

OGIF is mainly a group of bankers. Bankers have money and they need projects to invest it. Nothing better than aproject with a high potential and close to their offices/reach/influence. So the risk of misalignment is there unless something in the contract is to mitigate it.

a good compromise (if possible/available) is an initial reasonable price on seismic plus a contingent payment on discoveries.

The $ has appreciated by around 3% in the last couple of weeks. For someone who is ready to pay say £5 billions thats around $150 millions ☺. Further savings could happen in the Brexit process journey till March. March? A coincidence?

Assuming the potential is there. The physical destination for tendera gas is europe. For china to use this gas there is a need for a swap system with whoever can delliver gas to china. Why the chinese would get into this gymnastic if they can contract directly from such suppliers? Besides europe wouldnt prefer this gas (if important volumes) to be with the chinese. Imo

Germell. What i meant is that relying on supply via pipeline could cause issues. Maintenanceof any part of the supply system could require supply reduction or even total shut down. Since the gas turbines could be required any time in a power system @ 52% renewables, there is a need for an alternative supply unless there is enough trust (concept to be defined!) In one supply system (tendera)
