Daveyboy71. By security, I meant that if you have issues in upstream (local gas) or even in the transportation/compression/treatment side, you have problems since you don't alternatives but LNG is different.

Soundinoff. spread 5 billion (by the way it could be much much less with and an FSRU instead of a land based terminal) over 20 year and say a volume of say just 100 mmscf then it is very small thing. LNG on the other gives more security (many suppliers). So again 7 $/mmbtu is not bad at all but if they can get more good.

7$/mmbtu with some escalation is a good price. You can find LNG contracts with similar prices or less for this level of crude oils. better to have realistic expectations.

From the Moroccan perspective, the gas will be big in the energy mix (more demand and back up to renewables). If the Moroccans rely on tenderara gas, they will cancel the LNG project and imports from Algeria so they need to have enough confidence/gas to supply their system. thus the whole tenderer for the GSA

Why would the Moroccans sign a GSA with a firm that will vanish in x months? The GSA could be delayed not because of prices but because of the potential discussion between sound and the buyer candidate.

The value to LTHs will come from a sale of the asset or the company not daily sp variation. Can we be surprised by a Repsol et al offer soon?

If here is a value as expected by pi's then it should come from an LE rather than from the results news.
