Funnily enough, if you filter the trades today by price. No person, not one has paid 1.49p (up until the time of this post obvs).

It looks like the MM’s have enough shares, they are keeping the spread wide and not raising the bid, just the ask. It is going to take a run on buys or news to change the bid imo.

Todays tweet was around n hour ago and that’s when I posted about cancelled trades. I think it’s maybe the same again. People thought they were further along and cancelled on seeing the Tweet?

Possibly, the Tweet on the 2nd surprised people because most expected they were further along. That might have triggered some cancellations, keep your powder dry and all that?

Just checked. The Tweet was 25 mins before the deleted trades.

The second was the day that the Ops manager posted a video update on X. From memory my post about deleted trades was before the Tweet. Make of that what you will?

I have no idea, just happened on 2nd of Aug and again today. Not in between dates that I have seen on that scale.

Meaning someone cancelled a lot of orders. There could be many reasons for that. However, this is money on the stock market. They will have been cancelled in order to make more money I suspect.

It’s a good sign when the market moves so quickly and buys show as unknowns or sells due to the algorithm not keeping up. Let’s hope the MM take over their risk / reward profile from their algorithm. That would be good for us.

I agree, today is not a day to sell. I suspect the market is moving on expectation of news incoming. The Tweet may have sparked that confidence. There will be some waiting for the dip for large purchases, look out for icebergs!

I think a lot will depend on the spread, it has been wide all week. We might see a narrowing towards the afternoon, in which case I agree 1.5 bid will be closer than some might expect.
