Did the MM stuff up last week and build up too much stock, only to be buggered by the 2nd RNS regarding the Galactica tie up. Now they have too much stock, placing shares to clear and are selling into every buy which is why the SP is stuck here for at least 3 days.

I don't think they would have bought into BNL project if there was something in the offing with China, would cause unnecessary issues.

Buys outstrip sells by a significant margin, circa 4/1 and yet. There is a source of sales that is yet to exhaust. Whether that is placing shares or an unknown source. It sure is tedious.

Maybe MM stockpiled after first EWT RNS expecting significant demand and the deal with BNL affected that, leaving them with excess shares. Is it the case that what we are seeing is them rebalancing their books?

I hope it is still the churn and not the takeover by stealth you have heard mentioned Toffers, that would be no use to shareholders.

CPete, that was my view midweek so I made a point of closely watching the price action on Thursday and Friday. Have a look for yourself, every time the price move to 1.10-1.11 it was taken back down by sells to 1.09 (or lower). The same is happening tis morning.

It looks to me like the brokers have been told to sell at any price above the placing and so 1.10 is good enough. The consequence of this however seems to be the trickle sell of shares which is just killing the influence of any buys.

Anyone have any thoughts on when we might see the end of the churn? I thought it should have been done last week with 3 Bn, but seems not to be the case?

Until the churn is over. Buys being sold into. When it’s cleared this should move accordingly
