I do not think Adolfo has fell short on any of his forecasts and predictions as yet and made clear that we will not start to really see the benefits of the transformation till early 2026 so all the fuss on a day to day, week to week basis is just noise to keep the forum ticking over. I will be judging him and his team once we hear the end of year results and outlook for the next FY. I am very confident we are in safe hands and this business will be in a very solid place and delivering sustainable profit and steady growth in 2 years time. The SP will start to climb over the next 6 months

In amongst all the emotional panic and downbeat spirit, oh and the usual boring negativity from the those that do not even own shares but hang around like a bad smell, this is the most insightful post I have read in a while. Long term investors are very well placed to see a great return over the next 2-3 years

Totally agree Crow. Lilly ( and I do think Lilly and AIM could be the same person) just spouts annoying incredulous bile. I encourage all board members old and new not to engage. He/she owns zero shares and is the most negative nonsensical dribbler with nothing of any value to contribute.

I have never sold any of my CPI shares and have only topped up to average down when I have money to invest and the timing is right. Revenue is NOT more important than growing profit and FCF over the next 12 months. If revs contracted significantly more than expectations then that would be a concern but if it stays broadly flat for now and profit increases and we get to positive FCF by the end of year results the share price will rise. In 2026 I would hope that the board will forecast steady higher profit rev growth. This is the right way forward and although I don’t like to be drawn into the SP guessing game of some, I am very confident the SP will be at £6 by March 2027. That will be a good enough return for me, it may come sooner but that is a very realistic conservative target

Unless you are desperately in need of freeing up some cash I would not sweat the results next week. The share price may drop a little if no positive surprise news. If as forecast, will probably drop but the real news that AH needs to comes through on is positive FCF at the end of year financial results. If that does not happen, investors may start to question the turn around. I expect the half year results to be in line with what we have been advised so boring and nothing exciting. Us long termers can chill for another 6 months as that will be the first important judgement period of AH’s tenure

Over the last month the share is still up 45%. Hardly a retrace more a period of stabilisation after some very significant jumps

What a nice way to roll into the weekend. Mad days when your portfolio is jumping in tens of thousands a day and not reducing by similar amounts as was the case not so long ago. Of course, there will be further ups and downs along the way. My crossroads is late summer 2027. AH and his team will have either delivered on a much more sustainable stable path by then or not, and if they do deliver, we will be looking at £6 plus share price by then and I will be able to retire a little early (yippeeeeee!)

What is sadsausageboring’s motivation for contributing to this forum? It is for CPI investors or those that may be considering investing. He constantly comes across like a spoiled child whose parents have said no but he can’t accept it and keeps having tantrums. I would encourage everyone to stop being triggered by his little tantrums as that is what he gets off on. Completely ignore him and/or filter him out and hopefully he will p@ss off and pedal his sh@te and dribble elsewhere. Sensible balanced debate on the Capita business, the sector, the market, sharing insight, thoughts on the future all very interesting and love to read all that on this forum but his childish constant negative rants are so tiresome. Am not triggered by him hence never having acknowledged or engaged in anything he has contributed to this forum, am just tired of his sad attempts to get attention interrupting the intelligent thoughtful contribution of others.

I love the the daily chat on here and Capita has not proved to be a great investment over the last 3-4 years. I know others on here have been holding and hoping for even longer. That said I am and always have been in for the long term and my first proper review will be March 2027 when I am of an age when I could draw down a pension. If Capita can get into FCF in the next 12 months and then push on over the following 12, I think 40p+ in old money is very realistic and most importantly will give me the return I need on this volatile old lady to allow me to retire (along with other investments maturing). Adolf and his team are making fantastic progress given what he inherited and I think the business is already turned around, they now need to go through the gears which they are. It’s just a crap share to talk about on a daily basis as always succeeds in disappointing. So unless anything dramatic happens will join back in with comment after the June update which I am hopeful will show more progress to FCF and a slowing down of revs contraction

The maths on consolidation is simples we all agree that. That is not the concern, it is how the market reacts. When we were at 12p getting back to 20p with the right news and results could happen over the course of a month. Big jumps very possible. We won’t see the same % jumps at the new consolidated share price over similar periods and when there is no positive news following consolidation the share price slowly gets pulled down. It creeps down 1p here and there all on its own. Only positive news changes this

In my experience when consolidating shares from pennies to pounds you no longer see the huge % jumps in gains. It is not beyond possibility that 14p could easily be 28p this time next year but it is less likely you will see £2.10 jump to £4.20 in the same period. If Capita consolidate I expect the share price to slowly slide down to £1.60-£1.70 or 11p at current levels

100% correct in your opinion and analysis. Consolidation is a bad move and if we have the opportunity vote against it

I agree, without getting into the details re my concerns, I do not want the share consolidated. Let it find its way back to 40p as is over the next 2 years

Agree blind loyalty is dangerous but am basing my view on what I saw with JL at the helm and what I am seeing now with Adolfo. Not expecting miracles but this share is underpriced. If the new SLT can get sustainable mid to high single digit profit out of the business and follow that with a return to growth following further contraction as the profile of business they take on changes and the cost model that supports new and renewed contracts beds in. I will be happy at the end of 2026 with an SP of 50pp

To all the longer term serious investors on this board, I have never felt more confident about Capita’s medium/long term prospects. We can have fun talking about the weekly up and downs of the share price but the strategy being implemented is going to bring us all a handsome reward over the next 2-3 years. So, I certainly won’t be panicking if the market generally has a negative reaction to the budget as Capita is going to be just fine. Be patient and we will all get the rewards our loyalty to this share deserves

Few weeks in, got the £1000 gross profit on the £10k invested purely to make a short term little profit. The rest stays in to pay for my retirement in 2027. May play again on cheeky little profit buys but the medium to long term all looking rosy. Don’t have mad aspirations, will be very happy with 40p SP in 18 months and 55p+ in 3 years time

Capita are NOT going to go bankrupt. It is the pace of transformation that causes everybody go off on tangent conversations. We need to accept this s a 2-3 year transformation at which point the SP will be north of 40p, could be as much as much 60-70p. Sustainable improved results need to play our for 3-4 half year results AND I know the cost cutting programme will deliver this in the main but we do need to see NEW contract wins and extensions being called alongside the realisation in the numbers through the efficiencies. Good times ahead but you can measure it week to week or even month to month. Next set of results are key as need to reflect what AH as advised will happen

Unless you have the time, insight and experience to day trade or move your portfolio around then I think CPI is for the long term investor. The next 2-3 years will prove that BUT if you can also make a quick buck and cash out a little for your own sanity then no harm in that either
