I think most investors understand and completely support MR’s strategy and believe it’s all being done for the right reasons ie. to optimise the final outcome. I for one am quite relaxed about developments to date and where we appear to be heading

It’s normal practice to see the share price pegged back to the placing price for a short period after a fundraise. The SP is only down at this level due to the forward selling by some participants ahead of that fundraise which I suspect may have been announced when the share price was up around 9p. I would expect the reversion to at least that level to commence shortly as the dilution was minimal

Incredibly harsh I would say. The SI barely matters anymore, Mike has already said there are numerous potential investors seeking to come on board. So many positives to be taken from the last couple of interviews IMHO, MR is one of the most diligent CEOs I’ve encountered on any small cap investment

If things weren’t progressing well with the processing I hardly think we would’ve seen an 18% rise last week. 4Kandles has been spreading FUD almost since day one, I think we’re getting close to the time where we will see more of this as some start seeking their lower entries

This statement has also appeared on previous RNS’s, I think they are duty bound to state that caveat, it’s normal procedure, not only for Empire, I’ve seen it on numerous other company updates.

No worries Comp easy to confuse as both announced simultaneously

Computer909, I think you are confusing the strategic investor (who is currently unknown) with the African investor who is already invested at 5p “ under the companies existing headroom” for the sum of $0.5M. Both were announced in the same RNS on 6th Feb

MR has clearly stated that the SI are happy to invest at whatever share price is prevailing at the time

MR said in his interview earlier this week that he has TWO exciting announcements to make. I think it’s quite possible that the second one relates to funding from a wider perspective as he openly told us that numerous discussions have been taking place in this respect. My personal view is that the potential SI is pretty insignificant now in the grander scheme of things as we’ve had numerous positive developments since Feb

The spread has finally narrowed to a very reasonable 2.5% which seems to be generating more liquidity and encouraging more investors. Positive share price action over the past couple of weeks suggests we may be getting close to the bulk sample results from the small flake testing or perhaps further offtake MoU’s. Much potential news in the near term

Buying picking up nicely this week and bid back to 5p now. Maybe news on the more complex next phase of smaller flake sample testing getting close?

I cannot understand your concern Legalwolf as you are not invested here …. YET! MR has stated on numerous occasions they “only take cash when they need it”. He has numerous options for funding both in Africa and globally as previously stated. Funding is not needed right now following recent tranches from the DFC and other new investors …. as you clearly know! Keep chipping away though for your lower entry by all means

In fact funding wise Blencowe is unique from most small cap stocks in that it has DFC funding support. This is not offered out lightly and is a very unusual occurrence which is a huge statement about what we have here. The latest funding came through on 15th July ($0.5M) then a further GBP 1.9M from key project partners on 22nd July. In addition to that we have a strategic investor who has committed to putting in $2.5 shortly at whatever the prevailing market price is at the time. From a funding perspective, in fact from every perspective, things couldn’t really look much better. MR is a very safe pair of hands and continues to be a man of his word

The only people concerned about funding are Legalwolf, Legalwolf and Legalwolf.

MR has stated many times there is considerable investor/funding interest and they “only take cash as and when they need it”.

I would suggest anyone concerned about dilutive funding or lack of news on the SI takes a listen to the Mike Ralston interview from a couple of months ago, I personally found this very reassuring (commencing from 9 minutes)

“The African syndicate of high net worth people who are already invested will definitely put in more money when we think the time is right”

“We really only take cash as and when we need it”

“We are speaking to several funding partners right now”
