the title is irrelevant. it is the role that counts. chris stackhouse performs all the functions of a finance director.

it is not unusual for the holder to carry the title finance director and no actually be an executive director.

ayten saridas was "director of finance/cfo" but not an executive director

similarly priyanka jayasuria: director of finance/cfo

so i would be interested in the background and qualifications of your friend to offer that opinion.

re options

"certain directors" may well have options at 10p...9.5 million to be precise and they would ake £950,000 at 20p...

but do you honestly think the other directors with options up to 25, 29, 35 and even 50p would be happy with that? a mere 15.5 million...

his basic in 2024 is $160,540 and potential bonus $37,500. (the other directors earn between $23k and $51k i.e. £18/40k.

so i would contend the options make them highly motivated to maximise share price appreciation and frankly its not his fault that hasn't happened yet.

so why don't you ask your friend to put his money where his mouth is and buy solg shares (we have 3 million) because if he is convinced the key personnel are going to make a lot of money he can't fail to...

Scott/Bob have come up with creative financing solutions via offtake that will not materially dilute the DFS (in preparation) i.e. zero equity...
