RE: BHP/Lund paid £9.65/t for Filos 259mt = 173p for Solg's 539mt5 Dec 2024 14:17
Interesting...Filo Corp was $1.79 less than 4 years ago...cashed ut at $33...a 19 times Multibagger...
They have never had any Revenue, they are further back than we are and as this article states, Filo shareholders should take the money and run...
“However, investors should consider the potential risks and uncertainties associated with the deal completion and inherent volatility in the mining sector.”

Going back to SOLG, it is beyond doubt that we are worth far more than the current SP and irrespective of a fair value for Cascabel, I totally agree that we are wasting the potential for the cream of the other 85 prospects to add meaningful value to the SP.
As Nick has said, there may be other Alpalas out there.
Bur we have no cash available to drill them, even Porvenir, except...
Thats why I'm so excited that Scott is trying to bind Blanca Nieves into Alpala. If FNV accept that its proximity and the certainty that BN ore could be processed at the Alpala site, we can spend money on a potential new Alpala.
Otherwise the only ways to raise drilling monies for other projects are:
Borrow it...probably not more than $10m...
Issue new equity...at 5p? (Unless its to a potential bidder but then probably not more than 10p)...
Sell there CGP shares, probably at the same cost and consequences.
So we agree. And if Darryl hadn't nearly bust SOLG maybe we would already be down that road at a far higher share price.
(PS Is there any evidence for this “We appear to have batted off anyone that was interested in partnering up...”?
Thats why I conclude that the best deal would be to sell Cascabel, pay a special dividend and use the rest to develop the regional portfolio. That would spike the SP.
