I think Mr Smith is highly credible and if you read his detailed CV he has excelelnt connections with major players such as Barrick Gold, BHP, Newmont, etc.

The IPO timing was opportune with the Tin Price high...however he said Ukraine was a massive disruptor of all metals prices, not just tin but they are now reciovering.

He cited two keys to getting the SP going:

1 Getting all the necessary permits etc in place to prepare the way for the Taranga Mine finance

2 A continuing reset in metals prices to reflect the underlying supply/demand ratio

I still see it as extremely good news with three possibilities:

1 Use ExpolreCo as a vehicle for a streaming deal on Porvenir and spend the funds on drilling the best prospects.

Interesting that Blanca is included. Maybe FNV wouldn't wash it being included within the Cascabel project

2 IPO ExploreCo. This echoes what Nick did with DGR subsidiaries.

Solgold could sell as few as 15% of the shares to get the issue away. It would raise funds for drilling and put a value on the 80+outside projects.

At present that value is negative or non-existent with the SOLG SP on the floor

3 Sell Cascabel on its own, leaving ExploreCo as Solgold Mark2

Finally, don't be surprised if Scott rocks up as Chairman or even CEO of ExploreCo...

This is extremely good news and paves the way either for a spin-off of ExploreCo or the sale of Cascabel as a separate entity leaving ExploreCo as Solgold Mk2

It seems to me that with his track record of success, John Wilson must have seen huge potential here....why would he risk wrecking his CV...?

And the gardening leave suggests his previous employers didn't want to lose him...

One significant order and his credibility is validated...the shorts will close...and the SP will soar...

Personally I think the current SP malaise is down to arbitraging or hedging against CWR...

CWR's results will be good and their 2025 forecast has been reaffirmed....they will rebound and so will AFC...

Latest targets AFC 125p...CWR 340p...

Cash is c50p a share...

Forecast revenue up at least 250%...

Forecasts to 31 Dec 2025 unchanged...

Berenberg target 340p...

73p to buy...bonkers!
