RE: The ExploreCo Story25 Jun 2025 10:11
ExploreCo and an IPO are a no brainer...
Cascabel has a massive negative value as priced by the market...
So the 80+ properties, including Porvenir, Bianca Nieves, Rio Amarillo, etc have, by defintion, zero value at present...
The hiving off, is supported by majors, including Newmont
It 'enables' the IPO which, if preceded by, e.g. a Porvenir streaming deal, would put a real meaningful value on the properties...
Also, we are proised direct shares in it pro rata...
JL may be right in suggesting a small fall in ths SOLG SP immediately after but given no intrinsic value in the 'properties' at present, I don't see it myself...
And as JL suggests, one way or another, it may provide a means to acquire additional SOLG shares cheap...
As a precautionary measure against a possible Rights Issue to fund the proposed 'licence fees' payable by 30 July, I have sold the 500k I bought recently but will be watching the situation carefully with a view to rebuying...
In the meantime I risk e.g. a DFS announcement or other good news that could light a fire under the shares, in which case, 'hp hum' we still have almost 3 million...
Good luck all
