Tandayama America is described as one of THREE MAJOR prospects alongside Porvenir and Cascabel

So I believe either concurrently or sequentially we will get a PEA of Tandy and a DFS for Cascabel as a whole, showing that open pit mining is feasible at Tandy sooner than expected, which means that the processing plant can be built and the mine shaft to the ore in the middle of Alpala earlier, out of the $650 million fund plus cashflows from Tandy.

(Also that drilling can take place at Bianca Nieves and Chical as feedstock into Cascabel...)

Announcing the 2nd FNV/Osisko Tranche drawn at the same time.

This news (together with the ExploreCo stuff) should create the basis for a rerate to at least 9/10p and then former, potential and existing investors buy more shares, provoking a further rerate to 13/15p followed by a modest equity raise to fund non Cascabel cashflow needs but also adding meaningful liquidity to the market to sustain the upward momentum...

Sooner or later value will out in this stock...as Rodney and others have pointed out the last PFS Post Tax NPV of $3,2 billion was based on:

$3.85/lb for copper, $1,750/oz for gold and $22.50/oz for silver.

The current prices are: $5.19/$3350/$36.30

(And just to remind you, at current prices of silver, the AISC is zero funded by Silver sales (total resource currently valued at $900 million))

So the Post Tax NPV should be increased by $1.9 billion for the Gold price and $1.4 billion for the copper price giving...

$6.5 billion or 154p/share...

And thats without a Tandayama PEA incremental value

Dan Vujcic has previously said he knows Shaun Day at Greenland Gold and it is beyond doubt that Shaun has done a much better job than anyone at SOLG since the first ATYM spikes...

So he may have talked to Shaun about how to get the SP up and guess what...?

Newcrest established a JV with GGP for Havieron which materially boosted the SP.

Newmont have kept Havieron and Newcrest are managing it since the merger.

Newmont is mooted as the likely partner for ExploreCo so...

I always try to be objective Bozi and may I say I totally agree with your reply to Rodney.

Whilst admiring Rodneys work I believe its academic because as you say:

1 If nobody much is buying with current NAV , what material difference would revaluing at current prices do...if Rodney can do that work, so can sophisticated investors...we all know Cascabel alone is a bargain

2 Whether he's contacted the company or not (and I don't think there's a chance in hell of Regulators picking on SOLG for not revaluing), thee is no point because the impending DFS will revalue the project but not at or near current metals prices

SOLG is the bargain of the century but how many on here are still convinced of that? If you are, why not pile in?

I'm not sure about cash crises addickt but I dismally failed to persuade Bob to sell the CGP stake in the 20s because he was holding out for a takeover...

And as far as I can see the massively ill judged licence taxes will only benefit the Chinese...

At least we lose nothing if ExploreCo has to be anbandoned because the market is putting value on those licences anyhow...

So we are where we are...

I have total confidence in Paul Smith's stewardship

I believe Dan is moving things along as quickly and competently as he can

I totally believe in the strategy which will not only either make us a mid tier mining company or, more likely see us taken out in a bidding battle fuelled by the inevitable impending M&A fest in Junior Miners which will see several multipage, so why not Solgold

And also the ExploreCo strategy is, for me, a no-brainer and the only thing I fear is the stupidity of the Ecuadorean administration in introducing penal license taxes which can only beneifit the Chinese in the long run.

So guys, please, give Paul and Dan a break. They are the best management team we have ever had for where the company is right now in its development cycle. They are working towards taking Cascabel/Tandayama to production and they have a coherent strategy to optimise the total value of probably the best mining prospect portfolio on the planet.

Once the serious investors wake up to that, rather than the short term traders (piled in after the JCC announcement and the took their profits...), we will finally see real value out in Solgold...

So in conclusion, I am not stupid or deluded; I'm just as frustrated as you are; but I have a good life, good friends and family and one day soon my life will be transformed by the rerating and/or the takeover of Solgold which will make Noront look like a tea party...

That is the million dollar question that even Dan and Paul can't answer...

But for starters, ask yourself why there is a short on SOLG and why the SP is trading in a range around 7p...

I believe there are three fundamental reasons:

1 The SP is being held down so that the expectations are lower than should be the case when the bidding starts

2 The story is tired and old, so when people ask why the SP isn't much higher, understandably they conclude there must be something wrong. And all those who know about the story are either fully invested (e.g. Norges and Sprott) or have got tired and moved on but will be back when something material starts to happen

3 The varying versions of incompetent management

I have closely followed SOLG every day of my life for the last 8 or more years and have engaged with the key players, including some who are no longer at the company, so I do have some insights to add to my own opinions.

Being brief...full credit to Nick for building the portfolio of prospects and leading the discovery of 'the best hole ever drilled in South America'. He was directly responsible for the SP being driven into the mid 40s...but that happens to loads of mining companies when they make a major discovery. Call it the Lassonde Curve or whatever but look for example at the SP of ATYM, KEFI and countless others...eventually people get bored and drift away because they don't get that it can take 12 to 20 years from discovering an exciting prospect to the first pour...

Nick did far better than recent management in releasing news, but he had plenty to release...the trouble was that he overhyped the company and failed to deliver on key promises, most notably the first PFS...

And Nick is an explorer not a mine builder.

So they brought in Darryl who, frankly, was utterly incompetent. If he had stayed the company would have been bankrupt, starting with his singleminded belief that he could do a cashbox raise and ending with his treasonous personal approach to FNV. Ask Ingo and Ayten what really happened

The SP would have been much higher if Keith Marshall had been appointed CEO whilst grooming a credible successor.

Scott appeared pretty credible and I liked the guy; he seemed to have integrity; but probably guided by the Bobster, he let the basic operational and development stuff drift while they waited for a bid...Scott was treated disgracefully by some of the current and former posters on here...who know nothing but beat management up telling them what they should be doing.

And the last person I will point the finger at is Twiggy...I'm sure he is a person of integrity but he was incompetent to lead any company, let alone Solgold, culminating in the Berry Street takedown for a failure to implement even the most basic corporate governance standards

I totally get that people are frustrated...jeez, I've been here longer than most...

And I could catalogue a series of mistakes and misjudgements over the years, but we are where we are...

I totally believe that under Paul Smith's leadership we will finally see the value in Solgold, one way or another..

I completely understand why people who think they're starved for news spend e.g. man hours calculating NPV or worse, speculate that this will run into the ground or end up like SXX...

Personally I am not a mining expert and I defer to the few on here that are, but I have specialised in mining stocks, starting with copper (ATYM) and now focused mainly on gold and especially silver.

And I am still confident that Solgold will be life changing for me, my wife and my children...

Some may say that is blind faith and there have certainly been many missteps but, having reflected, I now believe we have the best leadership team for where we are now, in the history of the company...

In the next post I will briefly detail valid concerns about the past, but we can't change the past...

And it is entirely valid to be totally frustrated when you see GGP or even Solaris being better valued than we are...

But whatever else, here are some confident assertions for the future...

1 When you look at the rate at which the Chinese are electrifying their economy and especially the growth rate in TVs, it is beyond doubt that those critical minerals that are fundamental to EVs, charging and distribution, the green economy, the power needs of Bitcoin and AI, the exponential growth in solar panels, computing and electronic devices, are going to be in relatively constricted demand to varying degrees.

2 Tin...in every soldered joint; silver in solar panels; copper - nothing electric can manage without it; REMs - in all devices and totally dominated by the Chinese; gold - safe haven and alternative to fiat currencies; etc

3 We know what is forecast for gold and while the predictions for constricted copper supply have not yet had an exponential effect on the price, its coming...

And Solgold is one of the biggest unexploited sources of new copper and gold on the planet...and then there are the countless other projects we own in the 'Andes Belt'...

So why isn't SOLG much, much higher...?

Addickt...the £500k was from our total Stocks & Shares ISAs...

Haven't sold any Solgold, as I said...sorry to confuse you...

So for now they are maximising the current/potential value of the asset by planning to mine it...

I don't know which is worse...20/30 green stripes a day, or two very bright people arguing about angels on the head of a pin...

The NPV and the IRR are whatever you want them to be, based on the assumptions you use...so what...

I'll accept 164p but at tghe end of the day, Cascabel/Solgold is only worth what the last bidder will be prepared to pay...

A case in point is ADT1...at Vares alone they have:

12.3Mt at 192g/t Ag, 5.7% Zn, 3.6% Pb,

1.4g/t Au, 0.5% Cu and 0.2% Sb

Mining Rate 800,000 tonnes / year

Life of Mine 15 years

But its sold for c£935 million because Dundee Precious Metals had it stitched up long ago...

But Cascabel dwarfs ADT1 in resource and yet its enterprise is valued at just £205 millionthats a Net Asset Value od £205 million because thats what the whole ball of wax is valued at by Mr Market right now...which is NPV NOW...

The main difference is that ADT1 has started mining at Vares and Dundee are getting a bargain...

But by the same token, I bought ATYM at c70p in November 2015, an all time low (having been 868p in 2008) just 2 months before they declared commercial production...just 18 months later they hit 250p and now sit at 462p...

And the relevance of this?

1 The Lassonde Curve...we're still bumping along the bottom

2 The logical thing to do is to continue to move Cascabel to production because at the very worst the shares will be trading at a minimum of 25/30p when first commercial production is declared

3 The next major step in the process is the DFS and Funding announcement...to get there we need:

4 To complete the drilling at Tandayama, not only to quantify the resource but also because

5 We will start open cast mining at Tandayama (and possibly not long after that Bianca and Chical) which will

6 Deliver Revenues and immediate cashflow

7 Augment the Fund raises to construct the block cave at Cascabel

I understand that everyone, including me, wants someone to take over SOLG at a decent value ASAP but...

There are still no bids forthcoming...this was Bob's singular strategy ; Scott pursued it; and they failed...

And if you think the Board should be pursuing it now, what do they do? Go to JCC and say "will you take us over please?" Thats guaranteed to sell us down the river at 25/30p...

So you need to decide what you really want and when.

If you just want to get out at a profit, do that and don't get greedy but

You need to decide what you will do when the first bid hits...if you double your money nobody would blame you for selling half to run the rest for free.

But in the meantime, as I have suggested, you should decide every day:

Do I buy more; sell some; sell them all; or keep what I've got.

If you're in for the long haul, you should mentally write off your investment and stopwatching the SP until the big news comes.

You, Dan and Paul are in the same boat. Nobody knows when the bid will come.

So for now they are maximising the current/potenti

I'm concerned about the UK economy, especially with the Govts abject failures and the need to raise more taxes plus potential inflation increases...

And the global economy because of Trump's unpredictability, the impending "Beautful Big Bill" which will increase US borrowing by up to $3 trillion

The intrinsic uncertainty with the unresolved wars...

UK markets have had a good run and US markets are once again at all time highs...

It all seems so unreal, so...

I have today cashed £500k of mine and the wife's stocks and invested the lot in short term Gilts (maturing in 2025 with a guaranteed yield of c4%)

It can't be wrong to take profits, especially in view of my extraordinary good fortune over the last 3 months...

Before you get worried, I have retained our 3.3 million Solgold, plus GPM, BRC Silver, EQX, ATYM, AFC, UFO, FMET and 80M

Of course I'm gambling on Solgold and precious metals (especially silver), plus my small mining punts but I learned as a Stockbroker that it is never wrong to take profits and we've banked our entire profits since COVID.

I don't post this to worry people or for self aggrandisement. We've had a lot of luck but on balance it is time to take a more cautious view and I just wanted to be totally transparent.
